Kick-off area definition: the first shot at the beginning of each game. Usually, the kickoff player puts the cue ball in the designated position in the kickoff area and hits the cue ball with a club, so that the cue ball can play multiple billiards in the first half of the table. The kick-off of a game is decided by both sides by tossing a coin or drawing lots. When kicking off, the cue ball should be placed at any point in the kick-off area (D-shaped area) to hit the ball. The principle is to prevent the cue ball from falling into the bag and not leave the opponent with a chance to score continuously.
