World Cup Group Match System

The World Cup group competition system is as follows:

Thirty-two teams were divided into eight groups by lottery, with four teams in each group, and then the group match was held. If you want to advance to the top 16, you must get the top two in the group to advance. If you are the last two in the group, you will end your World Cup tour soon.

The group competition adopts the points system. The winning team gets three points, the draw gets one point, and the losing team doesn't get any points, so three games are played on the principle of division. After the three games, the competition will be ranked according to the group ranking. If the points are the same, it depends on the goal difference between the two teams. If the goal difference is the same, check the total number of goals.

World Cup Final Cycle Competition System

After entering the World Cup finals in 2022, we will meet the top 32 first. The top 32 can also be called group matches, and the league mode is adopted. Eight teams are formed from the 32 teams that have advanced, and the top two teams in the group can advance to the top 16.

After promotion to the top 16, it will be carried out in the elimination mode. The former 16 will be the first place in Group A and the second place in Group B, the first place in Group C and the second place in Group D, and so on. The winner will be able to participate in the semi-final (the quarter-finals), then the elimination of the semi-final (the quarter-finals), then the final (the championship) and the third place.
