What are the rules of weightlifting?

Weightlifting, as China's sports strength, occupies an important position in China's sports history. Then do you know what the rules of weightlifting are? Let's get to know it together!

Weightlifting rules

First, the mode of action

1, snatch: The athlete puts the barbell in front of his two calves in parallel, and his hands collide with the bar to lift the barbell from the weightlifting platform in a continuous motion until his arms are completely straight at his head.

2. Clean and jerk: The athlete lifts the barbell from the weightlifting platform to the shoulder with continuous movements. Keep your legs parallel and straight, and keep still. Bend your legs and squat first, and then lift the barbell with the action of stretching your legs and arms until your arms are completely straight and your legs are retracted and parallel to keep still.

Second, the competition rules

1. Draw lots: at the technical meeting. The deputy referee will lead the recorder and the recorder to draw lots at one time according to the order book of the conference. The lottery determines the order in which athletes weigh themselves and the order in which they try to lift. When drawing lots, regardless of grades, the number of numbers will be determined according to the number of participating athletes.

2. Weighing: Athletes start weighing 2 hours before the competition. The weighing time is 1 hour, which is regarded as abandonment.

3. Trial lifting sequence: Try lifting the light-weight athletes first. When the weight of the first trial hoisting is equal, the order will be determined according to the sign number, and the smaller sign number will be hoisted first. In the second case,

In the three attempts, if the weights of the attempts are equal, they shall be carried out in the order of the previous attempt.

4. Ranking evaluation: the highest weight lifted in the snatch or clean and jerk three attempts is a single achievement, and the ranking is determined according to the achievement. The total score ranking is determined by the sum of snatch and clean and jerk. If the results are equal, the athlete who lifts the weight first will win the first place.
