What is superstition?

Superstition usually refers to people's unreasonable belief or worship of certain things or phenomena. These beliefs often lack scientific basis, but they have certain influence in individuals or groups.

Superstition involves belief in astrology, divination, geomantic omen, signs of life, etc. Or worship and follow supernatural forces such as ghosts and gods. Superstitious activities include lottery, divination, fortune telling, fortune telling, geomantic omen, exorcism and so on. These activities are usually based on traditions and customs, rather than formal theological systems or scientific principles. Superstition leads people to seek psychological comfort in the face of uncertainty, and also hinders the development of scientific thinking and critical thinking.
