The procedures and conditions for foreigners to apply for a US visa in China are as follows:

1. Select the visa type and prepare the materials. If your passport expires or is damaged within six months of your expected arrival in the United States, or there is no blank visa issuance page on your passport, please apply for a new passport before coming for an interview. Photo A 2-inch X2-inch (5 1 mm x 5 1 mm) square color front photo taken in the last 6 months. Please stick the photo on the cover of your passport with scotch tape.

2. Complete the online DS- 160 application form. Please fill in the online DS- 160 non-immigrant visa application form and print out the "confirmation page" with bar code.

3. Register through the reservation center, pay the application fee and make an appointment for an interview, and fill out the DS- 160 non-immigrant visa application form online. Fill it out and print it out, and submit it at the visa interview. Before submitting the form, I need to take a 2 "x2" (5 1mm x 5 1mm) color front photo with a square white background. 4. Interview at the selected visa location according to the scheduled interview time. Please don't queue up at the embassy more than 30 minutes in advance.

Food and any liquids, including drinks, hand sanitizers and antibacterial glue, are not allowed to enter the embassy. All electronic devices, such as mobile phones, photography, cameras, radios and computers, are also banned.
