Yan Qian Town is located in the south of Wuping County, 42 kilometers away from the county seat. National Highway 205 and Shen Chang Expressway (Wu Yong Expressway) run through the north and south, and connect with Xiangdong Township in the east. It is connected to Zhongchi Township in the west, Jiaoling County in Guangdong Province in the south and Shifang Town in the north. Lion Rock is a key scenic spot in front of Wuping Rock.
