What level should the piano art test reach?

In terms of piano art test, the piano art test needs to pass Band 6 or above. The existing amateur piano examination system is divided into 10 grades, including primary 1-6 grades, intermediate grades 7 and 8, advanced grade 9 and 10 grades.

The main contents of the piano art test are as follows:

(1) Art Candidates, a piano with piano as the main test item, performed two works live, of which 1 sonata Allegro was recited, with optional tracks; Play an etude of Cherny according to the score, and the track will be decided by drawing lots on the spot.

(2) Art Candidates, a piano minor or additional test item, recited a work on the spot. The range of songs is sonata allegro movement, music and etudes.

There are many branches of music art examination, including musicology, music pedagogy, music performance, composition, conductor and music technology, and each major has more than one subject. I can only play the piano, so it's definitely not enough to take the music art exam. However, piano playing is a compulsory subject for most non-piano playing instrumental music majors. On the premise of not pursuing piano major, the piano level can basically reach about 7-8. After studying other subjects through professional training, you can take the music art test and be admitted to a professional music college.
