Legal Basis: Overview of the Integral Admission Policy in Dongguan Article 2 Non-registered school-age children and adolescents (hereinafter referred to as "applicants") who meet the following conditions may apply for attending public schools in compulsory education in their parks and towns (streets) or enjoy government subsidies to attend private schools in compulsory education.
(1) Age requirement: applicants must be at least 6 years old and not more than 18 years old, and have normal learning ability, among which applicants applying for the first grade of primary school must be at least 6 years old (calculated to August 3 1 of that year, including August 31); Those who apply for admission to non-initial grades of primary schools must reach the admission age of corresponding grades on the basis of admission at the age of 6; Applicants for the first year of junior high school must be fresh graduates of primary schools.
Applicants studying in compulsory education schools cannot apply for re-reading or re-reading. If you find that your application is repeated or reread, your application qualification will be cancelled.
(2) Household registration requirements: Applicants must be school-age children and adolescents who are not registered in Dongguan (including those registered in Hongkong, Macau and Taiwan Province).
(3) Parents (i.e. "parents") conditions:
Applicants can choose their parents as "parents" to apply for points system admission, in which:
1. Parents are registered residents in Dongguan, and can directly apply for the points system admission for the applicant according to this scheme;
2. Parents who are not registered in Dongguan must meet the following conditions:
Parents who are not registered in Dongguan, China, must hold a valid "Guangdong Residence Permit" or apply for valid residence registration in this city;
Parents who are registered in Hong Kong and Macao must hold a valid residence permit for Hong Kong and Macao residents or a residence permit for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents.
Parents who are registered in Taiwan Province Province must hold a valid residence permit for Taiwan Province residents or a five-year mainland travel permit for taiwan residents or a certificate of residence permit for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents;
If parents are foreigners, they must hold valid passports, visas or residence permits.
(4) This scheme is not applicable to foreign school-age children and adolescents in the compulsory education stage, and non-household school-age children and adolescents (including household registration in Hongkong, Macau and Taiwan Province Province) who meet the preferential policies shall be implemented according to the corresponding admission policies.
