If you are evil, it is useless to burn incense and worship Buddha. You should understand the significance of burning incense and worshipping Buddha and do more good deeds. What Buddha should I worship? Most people think that worshipping Buddha is a Buddha statue made of wood or stone and metal in front of you. Actually, what people really want to worship is the Buddha in their hearts. All living beings have Buddha nature, and they could have become Buddha. In fact, they worship themselves. It's just that ordinary people don't have that high understanding, and they need to get a Buddha statue as a symbol to give people a kind of comfort. I worship Buddha, on the other hand, I also worship and admire Buddha. Third, why should we worship Buddha? Burning incense is to purify oneself and show respect to the Buddha. On a deeper level, it represents a person's inner purity, so it is called "heart fragrance". Buddha worship is a very important subject for Buddhists to learn. Its real significance is to cultivate equality and eliminate arrogant habits. Worship the humblest Buddha's feet with our most honorable heads, which is called "foot-receiving ceremony". The goal of this study is to get rid of our arrogant and dull habits. We pay tribute to the Buddhist community, not to ordinary people, so it won't work. So it's a class in a Buddhist temple, and what you learn should be used in your life. In other words, when we see all people and things from morning till night, we are as humble, humble and respectful as the Buddha, and respect all sentient beings, even all evil thoughts, regardless of wealth, with respect for the Buddha's heart. Only in this way can we achieve equality. But things must be different, and reason is the same; In other words, there are differences in form, but there is no difference in heart. This is a bodhisattva. "Buddhism is in the world, and it does not spoil the feeling of the world." You can't break the laws of the world. From the perspective of world law, etiquette is poor. For example, when the president and ordinary believers come to visit us, what etiquette should we use to treat each other? There is a difference. This difference is the difference established within the difference, so the difference is no difference. Therefore, to learn Buddhism, we must understand the living law and the secular law; You should know that there is no difference, and you should also know the order of difference. There is no difference between reason and mind, but there is a difference in form. You can do it perfectly and handle it comprehensively. It is wrong to be poor in mind and reason. You are an ordinary person, not a saint. Things are not bad, you are also wrong, you are not merciful, you destroy social order, and people are at a loss. Therefore, how to be harmonious, the director should have wisdom.
A pair of couplets by Hokeji put it well: when you enter the incense, you enter your heart, and when you ask for Buddha, you ask for my Buddha. So as long as you have a sincere heart, nothing else matters.
