Thirty-two teams were divided into eight groups by drawing lots, and each group had four teams to compete. Each team has to play with the other three teams, and only played one game. There are four teams in each group, and six games are played in a cycle, each game lasts for 90 minutes. The winning, flat and negative scores are 3, 1 and 0 respectively. The top two teams in each group got the qualification of 1.
There are 64 matches in the World Cup, including 48 group matches, 8 finals in 1/8, 4 finals in 1/4, 2 semi-finals, 34 finalists in 1 final, and the third runner-up in the championship 1 final.
In the knockout stage, the single-loss elimination system is adopted, and the 90-minute draw is added with 30 minutes. If you can't tell the winner, you need a penalty shootout. The knockout round begins with the final of 1/8, with the first team playing against the second team. After that, the quarter-finals, semi-finals, three or four finals (semi-finals against losers) and finals were held in turn.

Rule: The team that scores more goals within 90 minutes (including stoppage time) in the knockout stage wins. If both sides can't decide the winner within 90 minutes (including overtime), then the first half and the second half will play 15 minutes overtime respectively. In overtime, if the two teams are still tied, it will be decided by the penalty of both players.
