Historical evolution of Fengshan in Ming Dynasty

In the west of Yuan 'an County, Yichang City, Hubei Province, among the mountains stands an independent mountain named Mingfeng Mountain. "Roaring like a phoenix" is Yuan Zhongdao's description of Ming Fengshan. Mingfeng Mountain Taoist Temple was founded in Liang Wudi in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, with a history of 1500 years. During this period, after several expansions and renovations, the temple reached its peak in Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty, and it was passed down in the same vein as Quanzhen Sect of Wudang Mountain, echoing each other from afar. The saying that Wudang is far away and Phoenix is in danger is widely circulated among the people. Taoist temple has a building area of 3,000 square meters, divided into three floors and four halls, with a height of more than ten feet. Carved on the mountain, with white walls and copper tiles, it is magnificent for half a day. In the early 1980s, there was a grand scene in which/kloc-0,000 pilgrims went to Feng Ming in the first month.
