The first stage is "public subscription and lottery confirmation"
According to the overall arrangement of BOCOG's ticket sales policy, April to September this year is the first stage of ticket sales for the Beijing Olympic Games. At this stage, all tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies and 50% tickets for sports competitions are pre-sold, about 2.2 million tickets.
The first stage of sales is pre-sale, that is, the public reserves the right to watch a performance, rather than the actual tickets with detailed seat numbers. The sales policy is "open subscription, shake the number to confirm".
The subscription period from April 15 to June 30 lasted nearly three months. All domestic public and foreigners who have worked, lived, studied and have a fixed residence in China for a long time can purchase tickets through the official ticketing website of the Beijing Olympic Games, or apply for paper tickets in advance at any business outlet of China Bank in China. After filling in the relevant instructions correctly, it can be handled through the 1000 Bank of China sales office designated by BOCOG.
In July, BOCOG ticketing system began to establish a database of all valid orders, and made a statistical analysis of the national public's ticket purchase applications.
In August, the ticketing system began to distribute tickets. Among them, if the purchased quantity is less than the sold quantity, all reservation applications will be satisfied. For any sports event with more ticket buyers than ticket sellers, all booking applications will enter the random selection process, and tickets will be allocated through the computer lottery system, thus ensuring the fairness of the allocation process.
In September, BOCOG will announce the distribution results of the first-stage ticket sales, send a confirmation letter to the buyers by mail, and entrust the Bank of China to deduct the corresponding tickets according to the distribution results and the payment information provided by the public when booking tickets.
The second stage is "first come, first served"
From June 5438+00 to June 5438+02, 2007, the Olympic ticket sales will enter the second stage. At present, the sales form is still pre-sale, and the core sales policy is "first come, first served", that is, tickets are allocated in the order of applying for tickets. At this stage, 50% of the tickets for sports competitions and the remaining tickets for the first stage will be pre-sold.
What the public should pay attention to is that there is no paper ticket purchase mode at this stage. The public can continue to book tickets online, or book tickets through BOCOG's designated 1000 China Bank outlet, or call the Beijing Olympic Ticketing Call Center to apply for tickets.
The third stage "real-time ticketing"
There is a three-month suspension period between the second and third ticketing stages. From June to March, 2008, 65438, BOCOG will suspend accepting air ticket reservations. During this period, BOCOG will conduct on-site inspection on the seating situation of all venues. On this basis, the specific seat numbers are assigned to the tickets sold in the first two sales stages, and the data of the tickets sold in the third stage are clear.
From April 2008 to the end of the Olympic Games, the third stage of ticket sales is "real-time ticket sales", that is, the public can directly get printed tickets with complete information after paying. The core sales policy is still "first come, first served".
Tickets for public sale at this stage include unsold tickets in the first two stages and new tickets that can be sold with the gradual reduction of the proportion of emergency tickets as the work progresses. Citizens can purchase tickets directly at the designated outlets of Bank of China and ticket kiosks in venues, or book tickets through the Internet and call centers first, and then complete the payment and collect tickets at the designated outlets or ticket kiosks of Bank of China.
