Singles are divided into 16 groups, from group A to group P, with a maximum of 4 people in each group. The upper part is groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H, and the lower part is groups I, J, K, L, M, N, O and P.
Doubles are divided into four groups, namely, Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D, with a maximum of four pairs of players in each group.
Second, draw lots.
All participating athletes/couples will be ranked according to the nearest world champion before the seed determination date, and then draw lots according to this ranking order.
Single signature desk
The seed player carries out in the following ways:
Step 1: 1 seed enters the top of group A (that is, L position, the same below), and seed No.2 enters the top of group P;
Step 2: No.3 and No.4 seeds are pumped into the top of Group E and Group L;
Step 3: seeds No.5 to No.8 are pumped into the top of Ac, G, J and N groups;
The seeds from step 4: 9 to 16 are drawn to the top of the remaining groups.
Seedless players draw lots according to the order after step 5 on the sign sheet, and input the remaining positions of each group respectively.
For example: Step 5: First draw the top 12 athletes, the first 1 will enter Group B, and the second will enter Group O ...-After completing Step 9, there will still be 16 athletes, 1 will be drawn into Group I, and the second will be drawn into Group H-.
This lottery carry mode can effectively ensure the advantages of seeds. For example, the final number of participants in the women's singles is 47, so there are only 3 in each group, and the group A where 1 is located is 2. The higher the seed ranking, the lower the ranking of non-seed players entering their group.
The doubles seed players will play in the following ways:
A)L L seeds enter the top of group a (that is, l position, the same below);
B) No.2 seed entered the top of Group D;
C) Seeds 3 and 4 are pulled to the top of Group B and Group C, respectively.
The rest of the athletes draw lots to enter the remaining positions in each group.
