For example, the Guandi Temple in Xiguan, Jiezhou, Yuncheng, has been well preserved so far, covering an area of 30 mu. The center building has seven buildings in the Spring and Autumn Period and five buildings in the depth, reaching more than 30 meters. There is a colorful sitting statue of Guan Yu in the building, which is very vivid. There is a famous couplet in the temple. The first couplet is that all three religions are converted, honest and intelligent, and the heart is like the sun hanging in the sky. The second couplet is to enjoy the sacrifice in Jiuzhou, with outstanding spirit, and the gods are like water on the ground. As can be seen from the couplets, Guan Yu, a military commander in the Three Kingdoms period, was deified as a holy king who converted to the three religions and was happy in Jiuzhou. According to textual research, Guan Yu may be the only military commander in the past dynasties who enjoyed this honor.
