Matters needing attention in hiking in the rain
1: This route usually takes 5-6 days. I suggest that you leave enough hiking time in Yubeng, so that you can enjoy all the essence attractions of Yubeng and have enough rest time to avoid overdraft. Because it is a plateau mountain road, it is actually difficult to walk, so don't take it lightly.
It's easy to get lost when walking in the rain, so be sure to walk along the green trash can. If the people in the same group have no experience in hiking in the rain, it is recommended to bring a guide with them or join the group. This is not only safe and secure, but also experienced. Once an accident occurs, you can make an accurate judgment and deal with it in time.
3: Rain avalanche may cause power failure. Be sure to prepare the charging treasure in advance for avalanche hiking in the rain. In case of power failure, there will be no cell phone signal.
4. If you foresee in advance that you may be physically exhausted, start riding from Xidang Hot Springs, and it is generally not allowed to find a horse halfway. From the hot springs to the rainy 250 yuan or so, to the pass 200 yuan or so. It is recommended to ride to Yakou, and walk from Yakou to Yubeng (the elevation from hot spring to Yakou is 12km, rising by about 1300m, and Yakou to Yubeng is only 6km, all downhill).
5. There is no racecourse in Xidang Hot Springs. When passing through Xidang Village, you should make an appointment to rent a horse in advance to avoid waiting too long at the riding point. Riding should consciously abide by the rules of drawing lots. You can't change horses halfway, and the riding fee will be paid at the end.
6. Xidang Village, Shangyubeng Village and Xiayubeng Village are the distribution centers of this route, and there are inns and youth hostels for accommodation. The accommodation in Yubeng Village has electricity and internet, and the accommodation environment can meet the basic requirements. After walking every day, you can go back to the inn to soak your feet with Tibetan medicine, which can relieve the fatigue of the day.
7. In addition to Rhodiola, you can also find local tofu and tofu flower to eat in Yunnan, which can help you adapt to the plateau (the indigenous method given by relatives in Yunnan). Of course, butter tea is bound to be an artifact to alleviate altitude sickness.
8. Try to avoid traveling in the rainy season. I can't help it because of the holiday. The rain and fog are heavy, and the scenery is also affected to some extent. Moreover, it is best to avoid the tourist season, so that you can solve your own food, clothing, housing and transportation without signing up for a tour, and you can freely allocate time and reach the scenic spots smoothly.
9. You must find an experienced team leader to lead the rain avalanche on foot. Don't take chances when you go. The terrain of the rain avalanche is complex, so we can't comment on it with our own hiking experience.
Ready to go:
Medicine (not all necessities vary from person to person. The following items are useless only by pasting, and the rest are used. You can avoid being stabbed if you go out of the Jianghu.
Food (varies from person to person, pay attention to the weight, chocolate is an energy artifact, instant noodles waste space, it is recommended to buy them locally):
Snickers chocolate, bulk chocolate, Pearl Krabs vitamin C granules, chicken sausage. That's all, compressed biscuits, outdoor cans and the like also vary from person to person.
Equipment category (you can see the importance of outdoor equipment):
Backpack: The brand is not the most important, the most important thing is to choose a backpack that suits your backpack system and capacity.
Shoes: If you want to walk freely on the "shit" road of rain collapse, high-top waterproof shoes are definitely the first choice. Shoes are not so particular in rainy and dry seasons.
All-in-one stormtrooper: You must bring it during the rainy season, and it really rains all the time, so people wearing raincoats can ignore it, but it's raining outside and inside, which is very uncomfortable.
A set of soft-shell underwear: the first choice for outdoor clothes without rain, warm, windproof, breathable and quick-drying.
A set of fleece underwear: the middle layer keeps warm and can be worn when not climbing mountains.
