In the 2004 Qatar World Table Tennis Championships, Zhu Shihe cooperated with Sang Eun Oh and Ryu Seung-min to win a bronze medal for the Korean team.
In 2004 Athens Olympic Games, doubles was paired with Sang Eun Oh. After the third round defeat, he lost to Wang 2-4 in the quarter-finals and missed the quarter-finals.
In 2005, Zhu Shihe failed to participate in the World Table Tennis Championships. According to reports, he is about to retire and should no longer belong to the warrior club of the Korean army. However, he didn't want to go back to his club before joining the army, so he delayed his participation in the experiment.
