In 2023, the Women's Volleyball World Club Cup officially settled in Hangzhou, and will be held in the gymnasium of Huanglong Sports Center in Zhejiang Province on 12- 17. Tianjin women's volleyball team will participate as the host team.

It is understood that the Women's Volleyball World Club Cup is hosted by FIVB and belongs to the world's top professional women's volleyball club. There are six teams participating in this competition, namely, the host Tianjin Women's Volleyball Team, the Champions League champion, the runner-up Turkey Wakif Bank Team and Ithachi Bashi Team, the champion of South American Club Championship, the runner-up Brazil Beach Team and Brazil Minas Team, and the AFC Champions Cup champion Vietnam Sports Center Team.

The schedule of the Women's Volleyball World Club Cup follows the tradition and is divided into group stage, semi-final stage and final stage. The top two in the group advanced to the semi-finals and qualified with the top two in the other group. The semi-finals and finals will be held in 12, 16 and 17 respectively.
