Third, the competition method:
1. The competition will be held in two stages: the competition and the Hebei finals.
2. The competition is organized by the competition area, and there are two parts: * * * listening test: 1), which is unified in the whole province and conducted at the same time, focusing on the listening ability of the players. The range of questions is mainly based on the corresponding level of American English Partner, which is slightly higher than the requirements of primary and secondary school syllabus in principle; 2) Speech contest, using self-propositional speech, the time does not exceed 3 minutes. The judges will organize on-site grading in different competition areas, focusing on the players' oral English pronunciation, writing and expression skills. The above two results add up to the total score of the players, and the finalists in the province are determined according to the ranking of the total score.
3. The provincial finals will be held in three rounds: 1) The first round is the preliminary round, which consists of a speech contest and an interview with the judges. Speech contest is a self-propositional speech; During the interview, the judges will ask questions on the spot, and the questions will be decided by the contestants. Add the two results to get the total score of the players, and decide the players who enter the second round according to the ranking of the total score; 2) The second round is the semi-final, in the form of impromptu propositional speeches and judges' questions, focusing on the players' listening and speaking ability and adaptability; 3) The third round is the finals, which is conducted according to the CCTV finals. Players who entered the national finals in the past will no longer participate in this group competition. If you participate in a higher level group match, you can directly enter the semi-finals. Players who entered the provincial finals in the past can directly enter the semi-finals.
5. In order to embody the principle of focusing on participation and ensure the high level of the competition, the organizing committee will allocate the number of players who enter the provincial finals according to the proportion and achievements of the players who participated in the preliminary competition in each school and division.
