There will be 64 top athletes participating in the 2023 World Badminton Tour Finals.
Activities to prepare
Organizer: In August, 2023, BWF confirmed that Hangzhou, China will be the host city of the 2023-2026 IBF World Tour Finals. The venue of this competition is Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, which is also the venue of Hangzhou 19 Asian Games. Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center is located in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, the new center of Hangzhou, about 3 kilometers away from the Asian Games Village. The venue covers an area of 2,279 hectares with a total construction area of 396,950 square meters.
Rules of Competition: Only the top 8 athletes in each event of the 39-station sub-race of the 2023 BWF World Tour and the individual champion of the 2023 BWF World Championship are eligible to participate. Each event is divided into eight groups. Each group will play round robin first, and the top two in the group will advance to the semi-finals. The semi-final will be redrawn and the final will be decided.
