Gymnastics and diving have the same final score. How to set the score?

In the competition before 1996, gymnastics was always tied with medals. For example, in the women's vault final of the 1992 Olympic Games, Milosovici and Honori shared the gold medal equally. After 1996, in order to prevent too many gold medals, the exception rule was introduced. After the promulgation of the new rules of gymnastics, the rules of breaking the average score have changed. In order to be more fair, we broke the rule of average score and began to use the method of effective segmentation and average. If the two players score the same, first look at the finished score, and the one with the highest finished score wins; If the completion scores are all the same, then remove the lowest one from the effective completion scores and compare them evenly until there is one score left. If there is still no comparison at this time, take a lowest score from all six completed scores and average it with the other five scores. If all the scores are the same, the ranking will be decided by drawing lots. However, due to the protests of some associations, the break-even rule is only adopted in the Olympic Games at present, and the World Championships are still allowed to draw.
