World Cup knockout rules

The rules of the World Cup knockout are as follows:

The FIFA World Cup, referred to as the "World Cup" for short, is the highest honor, the most famous and influential football match that national teams from all over the world participate in.

The World Cup is staggered from the Olympic Games and held every four years. Any FIFA member country (region) can send teams to sign up for this event. The World Cup is the most exciting, passionate and largest sports event in the world.

First, 32 teams were determined to participate in the World Cup through the qualifiers, which were divided into 8 groups with 4 teams in each group. Score first, then draw lots to decide. The host is in group A 1, and the drawing process follows the principle of avoiding the same continent. There are many teams besides Europe, but no more than two European teams in each group. The specific grouping is as follows:

Group a: A 1, A2, A3, a4; Group b: B 1, B2, B3, B4; Group c: C 1, C2, C3, C4; Group d: D 1, D2, D3, D4; Group e: E4 E3 E 1, E2; Group f: F 1, F2, F3 and F4; Group g: G 1, G2, G3, G4; Group h: H 1, H2, H3 and H4.

Note: Team grouping is not entirely determined by drawing lots. In order to avoid strong teams and weak teams, we first divide them into four grades according to the latest FIFA ranking, determine the seed team, and then draw lots step by step.

Rules for elimination of group matches: each match lasts for 90 minutes+injury time, and each team in the group plays 6 matches, such as A 1 A2, A 1 A3, A 1 A4, A2-A3, A2-A4, A3-A4 and A4-A4, with an increase of 3 and 65,438 respectively. The top two teams in each group qualify, and the *** 16 group, called "16 Top", enters the final of the knockout round 1/8.
