China Conservatory of Music is a music institution with unique characteristics of music education and research in China, which is based on Chinese studies, and trains high-level professionals engaged in the research, creation, performance and education of China's music theory. It is the first batch of "world-class discipline construction universities" in China, the scholarship receiving institution of the China government for overseas students in China, the secretariat school of the Global Music Education Alliance, and the "high-level research university" in Beijing.
2. Central Conservatory of Music
The Central Conservatory of Music (listed in the national "2 1 1 Project" in 2000) is the only national key university among the national art colleges.
1949 Tianjin was founded, and 1950 was inaugurated in early summer. 1952 yenching university Music Department was merged in the adjustment of national universities. 1958 moved from Tianjin to Beijing.
3. Shanghai Conservatory of Music
Sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, Shanghai Conservatory of Music is a full-time professional music (art) college approved by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, a world-class discipline construction university, a high-level local university construction school in Shanghai, and a member of the European Conservatory of Music Union.
4. Tianjin Conservatory of Music
The school is an important higher art education institution in northern China to train professionals in music, dance, drama and film and television. It is also the construction unit of the off-campus innovation practice base for postgraduate education in Tianjin universities and the first batch of master's degree awarding units approved by the State Council.
5.Xinghai Conservatory of Music
Located in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, it has been selected as the national college students' cultural quality education base and the excellent Chinese traditional culture (Cantonese opera) inheritance base of the Ministry of Education. It is the only higher music professional college in South China.
