architectural feature

At the beginning of the planning of Tolinji Pure Land Garden, it was designed on the premise of natural landscape control planning. The location of the core landscape giant Buddha, the direction of the central axis of the whole park, the scale of the main building, the facade of the building, etc. have basically maintained the original regulatory detailed planning and design intent requirements.

The architecture of the garden adopts the classic spatial hierarchical layout of ancient mountain forest architecture in China, which makes the whole Lindong Pure Land Garden closely follow the mountain trend. The central axis is planned as Shanmen Hall (and Tianwang Hall), Three Temples, Daxiong Hall, Buddha Pagoda, Covered Bridge, Giant Buddha Pagoda and other areas, and the Seven Gardens are carefully planned as Three Temples, Buddha Pagoda and Giant Buddha Pagoda.
