Snatch
The snatch requires athletes to lift the barbell over their heads in a continuous motion to reach the height of arm extension. In the process of lifting the barbell, the legs can be separated or bent, and the barbell can slide along the thighs and knees. Then, the players must stand with their feet parallel and wait for the referee's decision.
clean and jerk
The clean and jerk is divided into two processes: squatting and standing up. The process of squat lift requires competitors to lift the barbell from the weightlifting platform over their shoulders, squat at the same time, and then stand up. The barbell can slide along the thighs and knees, but it must not touch the chest before reaching the final state. Players can stop the barbell above the collarbone or breast nipple, then stand with their legs together, and then complete the process of lifting the bell over their heads.
After standing stably and the barbell is in a stable position, the player lifts the barbell to the height where his arms extend vertically, and bends his knees and spreads his legs. Then the players put their feet together and waited for the referee to signal.
score
Weightlifting is a simple sport. Each competitor has three attempts in the snatch and clean and jerk, and the best result of each event is included in the total score. For example, a player lifts 85kg in the snatch and115kg in the clean and jerk, and his total score is 200kg. If a competitor fails to snatch three times, he can continue to participate in the clean and jerk competition, but he cannot participate in the final ranking.
If two athletes lift the same weight, the lighter one ranks first. If two people have the same grades and the same weight, the person with that weight will be the first.
The weight of a competitor's first attempt determines the order of his appearance. In the first attempt, the lighter weight first appeared and continued until the maximum weight was reached. If two players want the same weight, the order of appearance is determined by drawing lots. Every attempt should gain at least 2.5 kilograms, except for the attempt to break the world record. In that case, the added weight can only be 0.5 kg, but the weight included in the total score is an integer multiple of 2.5 kg which is closest to the actual score.
Players have 20 to 30 minutes of practice time in the preparation room before the game. After you get on the weightlifting platform, you have one minute to prepare for the trial lift. During this minute, they put some talcum powder on their hands to increase friction. If the competitor tries to lift twice in a row, there will be a two-minute break between the two attempts.
Referee
There are three judges in the weightlifting competition, and their judgments become final according to the principle that the minority is subordinate to the majority. The referee sits in front of the weightlifting platform, with one referee on the left and one on the right. Each referee controls a red light and a green light-a red light indicates a failed attempt and a white light indicates a successful attempt. When two referees activate the same signal light, they will sound a horn immediately, that is, put down the barbell signal, indicating that the contestants give up the trial lift or put the barbell back on the weightlifting platform.
The jury is responsible for observing every attempt and has the right to overturn the referee's decision. The jury consists of five people, one of whom is appointed as the chairman.
Other rules
It is not allowed to lift the barbell directly into a squat posture after lifting it (that is, lift the barbell off the weightlifting platform and below the knee).
If the action of the barbell stops during the lifting of the barbell to the shoulder (squat lifting) or during the lifting of the barbell to the straight length of the arm (snatch or lift the bell over the head), the attempt is invalid.
If the unfinished attempt exceeds the height of the knee, the attempt is invalid.
Do not use grease, water or other lubricants on your thighs. If the player has used it, he must remove the lubricant, and this process is counted in time.
Only feet are allowed to touch the weightlifting platform.
During the squat lift, if the barbell touches the chest before the athlete turns his elbow, the attempt is invalid.
In the process of lifting the bell over your head, any obvious shoulder force action, including lowering your body or bending your knees, will make the attempt ineffective.
After the referee gives the order to put down the barbell, the competitor shall not put the barbell directly on the ground from the waist up.
If a player can't straighten his/her arm because of elbow deformity, he/she should report to three judges and jury before the game.
Men's competition barbell weighs 20 kilograms, 2.2 meters long and 2.5 centimeters in diameter; The clock pole in women's competition is 2.0 1m in length, 2.5cm in diameter and 15kg in weight. In order to enhance the friction force, the surface of the barbell bar is ground rough to keep smooth except that the barbell is pulled up and passed through two parts of the thigh.
Each barbell piece is distinguished by color. The weight of red barbell piece is 25kg, blue 20kg, yellow15kg, green10kg, white 5kg, black 2kg and chrome yellow1.25kg.. When trying to break the world record, contestants can use chrome yellow barbells weighing 0.5 kg and 0.25 kg. The numbers on both sides of the barbell piece represent its weight, and the heavier barbell piece is usually placed inside the barbell bar. Each lock with a weight of 2.5 kg is used to fix the barbell piece.
The weightlifting platform is a wooden square platform, extending 4 meters to both ends. Off the ground 10 cm, placed on a low platform off the ground1.5 m.
