What are the rules of League of Legends s5 Finals?

S5 Global Finals Qualification Rules:

Generally speaking, except for Southeast Asia and Taiwan Province Province of China, the number of participants in each division has not changed compared with 20 14.

Southeast Asia: GPL and LMS leagues

On 20 14, the GPL League hosted top teams from China, Taiwan Province Province and Southeast Asia. After last year's GPL League was divided into LMS (composed of top teams from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) and the current GPL League (composed of other top teams from Southeast Asia), we handed over the previous two direct promotion places to LMS League, and allowed GPL teams to advance to the global finals through international wild card qualifiers.

Looking at the team's historical record and recent performance, we think that LMS Division deserves two places that belonged to GPL Division in the past, and the new GPL Division should compete with other growing regions for seats in the global finals in the international wild card invitational tournament.

International wild card group and qualifying tournament

Two brand-new leagues, Southeast Asia GPL and Japan LKL, will join the battlefield for the qualification of the global finals. They will compete with Oceania, Latin America, CIS, Turkey and Brazil in the international wild card qualifiers. The top teams in each wild card division will be divided into two qualifiers, and each team will decide to participate in the 20 15 global finals.

● qualifiers 1: cis, Brazil, Latin America.

● Qualifier 2: Southeast Asia, Turkey, Japan and Oceania.

The first round of wild card qualifiers will be held in Chile and the second round will be held in Turkey.

With the approach of the global finals, we will share more information about the group draw, and at the same time track and report how the teams in each division step by step towards the 20 15 global finals. Please join us and see which teams will advance to the global finals in Europe this year.
