The History and Culture of Zhao Pu Temple

Zhao Pu Temple in Zhangzhou was built by Shi Guangxuan, a monk who traveled to Southeast Asian countries. Master Shi Guangxuan's ancestral home is Zhuoqi Village, Longhai. He grew up poor and later became a monk in Nanputuo. After studying in Minnan Buddhist College, he was invited to Gokurakuji in Penang. Because he is compassionate and has a good relationship. I am even more grateful to Nanputuo Temple for becoming a monk, so I built a temple, formerly known as Nanputuo Temple and Zhao Pu Temple.

Zhao Pu Temple in Zhangzhou is the sixth avenue besides Xintai Mayin 'ao. Founded in 1995, it covers an area of 160 mu and costs hundreds of millions of yuan. He built five temples in Zhao Pu in his life. One in Malaysia, one in Singapore, two in the Philippines and Indonesia.

Zhao Pu Temple in Zhangzhou is the fifth Zhao Pu Temple he built. Having traveled to Southeast Asia for a long time, he understood Buddhism as an open system, and incorporated many overseas colors and customs into the construction of Zhao Pu Temple.
