What are the forms of the selection interview?

The main forms of selection interview include the following:

1. structured interview: this is the most common way to choose an interview, and other forms are usually based on structure. The problems of structured interview can be summarized as self-cognition, comprehensive analysis, planning and organization, interpersonal relationship and emergency response.

2. Leaderless group discussion: This form requires candidates to discuss and make decisions around a theme. During the discussion, the candidates are completely free to discuss, and the examiner evaluates the candidates by observing their performance during the discussion.

3. Semi-structured interview: Semi-structured interview combines the characteristics of structured interview and leaderless group discussion, and the topic setting is more flexible. Some topics require candidates to play roles or simulate situations.

4. One-time interview and staged interview: One-time interview refers to the employer's one-time interview with the candidate to examine his comprehensive ability. The staged interview is divided into several stages, and each stage examines different abilities and gradually eliminates players.

5. Individual interview and group interview: Individual interview refers to an interview method in which examiners and candidates interview separately. Group interview is an interview method in which multiple interviewers face the examiner at the same time.

It should be noted that different interview forms may overlap, and the examiner will flexibly choose the appropriate interview method according to the actual situation. Candidates need to know all kinds of interview forms to improve their comprehensive quality and interview skills when preparing for the selection interview.
