"The motherland will need me!" This belief inspired Li Zhenshi. Table tennis is his passion, and it is also his career of serving the motherland, so he picked up his racket again and vented his inner grievances in training. He believes that one day, he will use his racket to reproduce the prestige and pride of China people on the world table tennis stage.
So, in training, he worked so hard. At the end of an exercise, he suddenly felt his legs weak and his opponent in front of him became blurred. The whole room was spinning, and the racket in his hand just mechanically pushed left and right. Gradually, he could see nothing. Then, with a thud, he fell to his knees and fell to the floor again, shocked by excessive sweating. His teammates carried him to the table. It was found that his shorts were all wet and his shoes made a "Kuku" sound from time to time. He sweated a lot when he took it down. However, Li Zhenshi woke up and said, "Never mind, I want to see how much pressure my body can bear." Li Zhenshi is such a strong-willed person, a person who does not bow and yield to setbacks and difficulties.
Li Zhenshi finally walked out of the mire and stepped into the door of the national training team. 1973, Li Zhenshi was transferred to the "August 1st" sports team, and was selected as the national team in the same year. He uses a fast attack with a penhold, and is famous for his fast forehand attack and high throw. During several years' table tennis career, he waved his racket and made famous players from generation to generation, such as Konoman, Gehlsen and Joan Ye, submit to his pat in the world table tennis world. With tenacious will and superb skills, Li Zhenshi became the main force of team champion China at the 33rd World Table Tennis Championships of 1975 and 1977, and won the men's doubles championship at the 36th World Table Tennis Championships of198/kloc-0. He also won the National Sports Medal of Honor.
