1. Jinci

Jinci Temple is the earliest existing classical ancestral temple garden complex in China. It is rare that a cultural heritage can preserve so many outstanding cultural relics. It can be said that it is step by step, and there are treasures everywhere.

Jinci Temple is located on the Jinshui River at the foot of Xuanweng Mountain, 25 kilometers southwest of Taiyuan City. It was built by later generations in memory of Tang Shuyu.

Route: Take bus No.301,302, 308, 804, 848 and 856 and get off at Jinci Park Station.

2. Shuangta Temple

Shuangta Temple is located at the foot of the mountain in Taiyuan. The Twin Towers are magnificent and stand like a pen, so they are called "Twin Towers in Writing". The Twin Towers were not built at the same time. The southeast tower is earlier and the northwest tower is later, and the two towers are 60 meters apart. They are beautifully built and are the landmark buildings of Taiyuan.

Located on a high mountain, before entering Taiyuan, people can see its figure far away, as if smiling at tourists from all directions, so it has always been a symbol of Taiyuan.

Route: Take bus No.55, No.820 and No.820 and get off at Shuangtasi Station.

3. Longshan culture

Longshan, a branch of Luliang Mountain, is located more than 20 kilometers southwest of Taiyuan City. It's quiet here. There are trees, lush leaves and pleasant scenery in summer. It is also an ideal resort for surrounding citizens to travel in summer.

Tongzi Temple site is also one of the earliest buildings in Longshan. The existing Tongzi Temple site and the Cliff Buddha statue behind it are also works of the Northern Qi Dynasty.

Route: Take bus No.308 at the north exit of the railway station and get off at Xizhen. After getting off the bus, go north 100 meters, go up the mountain from a path marked "Difficult Old Cement Factory" in the west, and pass through "Longshan Ski Resort" all the way. It's not too far from the foot of the mountain.

4. Mount Tai

Mount Tai is located in the southwest of Taiyuan. It is only 5 kilometers away from Jinci Park and 3 kilometers away from Mengshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area. It is a tourist spot for Taiyuan citizens to travel and play on weekends. The scenery here is extraordinary, especially famous for the red leaves in late autumn.

Longquan Temple is located on the mountainside of Mount Tai. Looking from a distance, surrounded by pines and cypresses, there is a golden coffin suspected of containing relics. Because the temple was built on Mount Tai, it is also called Taishan Temple.

Route: The traffic is inconvenient. 38, 3 10 get off at Luanshitan Station. There are several drivers at Luanshitan Station. You can bargain. If you want to tell us to go to Diantou Ancient Village first, you can bargain and agree not to pay the toll (there is a toll station between Luanshitan and Diantou Ancient Village, and the toll station generally does not charge local drivers). Generally 10 yuan can pull once.

5. Daguan Emperor Temple

Located at No.36 Qian Miao Street, yingze district, Taiyuan City, the existing building is Amin Dynasty Building. The temple faces south and covers an area of 3,500 square meters. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Shanxi Province.

The main hall, also known as Chongning Hall, has three wide and deep rooms. The glazed tile roof stands by the mountain, and the single slope leans against the top of the mountain to hold the house. The spring and autumn building in the backyard is a two-story building with square plane, double eaves and tile roof. There are cloisters on the front eaves of the upper and lower floors, and the left and right wing rooms are connected to both sides of the living room. This is a complete building complex.

Route: Take bus 1, 3, 4, 6 10, 830 to Nanmen Station, and go south along Jiefang Road.

Route: Take bus branch line 12 from Xia Yuan Bus Station and get off at Huyan Village westbound, or take bus branch line 835 and bus 835 from Shengli Bridge East Bus Station to Huyan Village directly.
