The 14 teams starting from the Swiss Round are: the top four in LPL and LCK, and the top three in LEC and LCS. The two winning teams in the final will join other 14 teams. The Swiss round stage will adopt the five-round Swiss round system, and teams with the same winning and losing records will compete with each other until the record reaches three wins or three losses. At the beginning of this stage, each team will be randomly paired with another team from different departments. The two teams played a BO 1 duel.
In the second round, teams will be paired with teams with the same record (for example, teams with a record of 1-0 will face other teams with a record of 1-0). After five rounds of reorganization, the team with three wins will advance to the knockout stage and the team with three losses will be eliminated. All the games that the team may be promoted or eliminated adopt BO3 competition system, and the rest adopt BO 1 competition system.
In the knockout stage, the eight teams advanced from the Swiss round will draw lots according to the ranking of the previous stage, and then be divided into half areas for a single defeat knockout. The two and a half districts will go through the quarter-finals and semi-finals, and finally decide the third place in the championship, resulting in the global championship in 2023.
