What are the stories of the bridge?

Wannian Bridge 1

According to legend, both master and apprentice are bridge builders, and two bridges have been built, one is Wannian Bridge, and the other is Dashan Bridge, which is only one mile south. Wannian Bridge was built by an apprentice. He just finished his studies and made a living independently. It was his master who built the big mountain bridge.

When Wannian Bridge was completed and put into use, the apprentice invited the master and a group of other disciples to watch it together. Unexpectedly, the master became angry from embarrassment: "If you build a bridge like this, it will be difficult to repair it in the future, and it will simply ruin everyone's job!"

It turns out that this apprentice carefully made this bridge. It is very strong, and people in the industry say that it can be used for 10,000 years, so this bridge was later named "Wannian Bridge". Today, Dashan Bridge has already collapsed, but Wannian Bridge is still standing.

2. Pan Lang Bridge?

About 700 years ago, an enlightened man named Pan built a bridge in Shen 'ao, Wuguan, to facilitate the transportation of local villagers. At that time, the land was vast and sparsely populated, and the economy was underdeveloped. Only a few families produce their own agricultural products and come to the two ends of the bridge to trade goods or articles. Over time, the "Pan Lang Bridge" gradually spread in the local area.

A local man surnamed Wu felt a little uncomfortable after listening to it, so he joined the ranks of villagers and wanted to change his name to "Wulangqiao". Because Pan is the most popular, has a large population, and has talented people to give advice to the Pan Shi family, they insisted on the street name "Pan Lang Bridge" on the grounds that this bridge was built by Pan, hence the name of the bridge was established. When it was changed, the two surnames argued and went to the county government.

The magistrate of a county decided to visit Pan Lang on the fifth day and the tenth day, get to know the situation, and then make a decision. When Pan got the news, the next morning when he entered the city, he distributed the sesame cakes to the people who went to the market in Shitou, one for each, and told them that he was going to the market in Qiaotou.

The magistrate of a county came all the way to ask the masses, who all said they would go to Pan Lang Bridge for the fair. No one said that they would go to the market in Wulangqiao, so they issued an official document and named it "Pan Lang Bridge".

3. Jin Lan Bridge

Jinqiao, formerly known as Golden Basket Bridge, is also known as Jin Lan Bridge. According to legend, hundreds of years ago, there was no bridge here, and a 50-foot-wide white river cut off the road from south to north.

On the south bank of the river lived a farmer named Zhou Jide. One day, his two sons crossed the river to see their grandmother, and they both drowned. Zhou Jide was cruel. He cut down 18 trees in the front and back of the house and used them as bridges. But the next day, two wooden piers seemed drunk and fell in the middle of the river.

Not wood, not stone? Zhou Jide gritted his teeth and sold all his possessions, and dozens of stones were built by the river. Farmers on both sides of the strait, who doesn't want a bridge? As soon as Zhou Jide took the lead, thousands of families came. It's really a hundred dollars, a kilometer, and if you don't have money, you will contribute.

100 More than 7749 days went down the river to fish for stone feet, and there was still a field in the middle of the river to fish for! Hundreds of pounds of square stone-put it down, it was swept away by quicksand. In a hurry, Zhou Jide cocked his skull and smashed it on the stone pile. This collision only hit a broken bamboo basket called Huapo.

This old woman is called Huapo, and everyone knows her. Because the bridge has been built for forty-nine days, she comes to dinner every time. Thousands of meters, thousands of people eat, poor * * * of course, with a word "bitter", without her bowl, unexpectedly, she saved Zhou Jide's life today.

The bridge was not built, and the leader was so anxious that everyone bowed their heads sadly. At this time, I only heard the old beggar say with a smile, "I have eaten your food for forty-nine days." This broken bamboo basket is my meal! " Say that finish, threw the bamboo book into the white river.

Strange to say, a yellow bamboo basket fell into the river and immediately sent out thousands of golden lights, which blinded people. The river and quicksand quickly dodged to both sides of the river, and in an instant, the solid riverbed was exposed. Then, I saw the bamboo basket become longer, bigger and higher. One end of the horizontal basket reaches the south bank and the other end reaches the north bank, and the bow and bamboo poles of the basket become dazzling golden bridges.

The people who built the bridge were stunned one by one. When everyone woke up, the old woman had already left. Not only the old lady Huapo has disappeared, but also Zhou Jide has disappeared. Everyone was in a hurry, but Zhou Jide's voice came from mid-air: "Thank you folks, I went to the South China Sea with Guanyin Bodhisattva."

Everyone looked up and saw a colorful auspicious cloud floating on the bridge. Sitting on the lotus platform is a majestic jade-faced bodhisattva, and there is a man standing next to him, Zhou Jide. At this time, everyone realized that the old woman named Huapo was Guanyin in the South China Sea. Everyone knelt down in fear and prayed.

It is said that the broken bamboo basket is a treasure basket used by Guanyin Bodhisattva when picking lotus. To commemorate the appearance of Bodhisattva, this bridge was named Golden Basket Bridge. Later, people built the Golden Basket Temple near the bridge, carved the statues of Guanyin Bodhisattva and Zhou Jide, and incense filled the air all year round.

4. Liyu Bridge

Legend has it that a long time ago, it used to be a wooden bridge. In the village to the east of Xiaohegou, there lived a scholar named Guan. He lost his father in childhood and lived alone with his mother. In the same village, there was a blind and lonely old man named Zhang Hu who had no one to support him. He hasn't eaten all day.

When winter came, the old man was still wearing shabby light clothes and shivering with cold. This scholar named Guan feels very sorry. He discussed with his mother and wanted to take the old man home for the elderly. Mother was very sympathetic to Zhang Hu, and she immediately agreed with her son. His family is poor, and life has become more and more difficult since Zhang Hu came.

In order to make ends meet, mother weaves around the clock. Scholars study hard and sometimes go to school hungry. As he grew older, he became pale and thin. One day, when he was at school, he went to the bridge and saw a handsome girl in farm clothes standing by the bridge with a water chestnut in her hand.

The girl shyly stepped forward and said, "son, it's too hard for you to go to school hungry every day!" This water chestnut is for you to eat, so you won't be hungry after eating it. " The scholar took the water chestnut, and before he could ask the reason, the girl disappeared. After the childe ate the water chestnut, his hunger disappeared. After a while, he became flushed and refreshed. Since then, I have made great progress in reading.

One morning, a scholar named Guan came to the bridge and the girl appeared in front of him again. Holding a bright red Bao Dan in her hand, she said, "Son, it's almost time for you to go to Beijing to take the exam. In order to help you gain fame, this cinnabar Bao Dan is what you carry with you and put it in your mouth when you are hungry. It can not only help you relieve hunger, but also make you tireless in reading and writing. "

The scholar was so grateful that he took over Bao Dan. The girl told him again, "When you get to the bridge at five o'clock that day, take three shots first, and then call' Aunt Carp' three times. When we meet again, you should give Bao Dan back to me. Don't miss time. If you miss it, you will be punished by the mud ghost, become a mass of sludge, and come back from the dead. "

The scholar hurriedly bowed and said that he would never break his word. He asked the girl, "kind girl, who are you?" Why have you helped me so many times? Let me know if you have any requirements, and I will repay you. "The girl said," I'm a crooked ghost named Gu Li, the only daughter of my family. When I was sixteen, Mr Hu's son, Hu Lanzhuo, brought some slaves to my house to rob relatives.

My father tried his best to stop him and was killed by them. I also jumped into the river and drowned. I left my old mother alone, thanks to the son who took my mother to your house for support. How can you tell me not to report kindness to me? "Say that finish, Gu Yu bowed deeply to the scholar again. The scholar was about to speak, but Gu Carp disappeared instantly.

The day of the exam is coming. The scholar bid farewell to his mother and was ready to leave. Mother wanted to take the exam for the children of rich families, brought enough money and excellent company. His son took only a little money and went to Beijing thousands of miles away to catch the exam alone. The hardships on the road can be imagined.

He sent his son to the village head and told him again and again. The scholar said goodbye to his mother, with Bao Dan in his mouth, and hurried to Beijing to catch the exam with his luggage and bookcase. During the exam, he felt like a spring, and he wrote like a god. He handed in his paper soon. When the list was published, he was indeed the first.

He thought it was time to return to Bao Dan. After reading the list of empires, he quickly set off for home. It's windy and rainy on the road, and it's starry night, so I dare not delay at all. If we hurry home, who knows that the return date has passed? He didn't dare to neglect, so he hurried to the bridge, slapped three times first, and then called "Gu Carp" three times. No girl appeared, only a pile of sludge appeared under the bridge.

When the scholar saw it, he knew that because of his delay, Aunt Carp could never go back to the dead, so he wailed. After crying for three days and nights, his tears merged with the river and washed a small river into a big river.

In memory of Gu Carp, Guan Gongzi invited skilled craftsmen to tear down the wooden bridge and built a stone arch bridge on the spot. A tall stone tablet is erected by the bridge, engraved with the three Chinese characters "Carp Bridge". 1957, the government built a dam to stop water, which is still called Liyuqiao Reservoir, and the dam is also called Liyuqiao Dam. After it was renamed Carp Lake in recent years, people still call this area "Carp Bridge".

5. Dawang Bridge

According to legend, there was once a single-hole stone bridge built in the Tang Dynasty on the Yanghe River, and people lived and multiplied on both sides of the bridge. On a long summer night, a sudden flash flood occurred in the upper reaches of the Yanghe River, and the river surged from south to north. The villagers were worried and anxious, carrying lanterns and torches and rushing to the levee to see the danger. I saw that the river in the south of the bridge surged at that time, much higher than that in the north of the bridge, and the situation was critical.

People were terrified and knelt on the levee to pray to heaven. At this critical moment, only a loud noise was heard, and a black monster jumped out from under the bridge and struggled to make waves. Suddenly, the water level on the south side of the bridge suddenly dropped!

A terrible dike burst suddenly saved the day, and people couldn't help telling each other that it was the "king of water" who was touching and sincere, so he burned incense to pay homage to the people. Since then, this stone bridge has been named "King's Bridge" to show its gratitude.
