Where is Wanshan Temple?

Wanshan Temple is a cultural tourist attraction.

About one kilometer from Xiufeng Temple to the east, you come to Wanshan Temple, one of the five jungles in Lushan Mountain. After the temple to the north, the original Qingyun Temple and Wuru Temple; Go east to Wollongong and Duoyi Temple; The northeast is about ten miles away from Seven Sages and Haihui Temple. Located at the foot of Qingyun Peak, this temple was named after the monks planted thousands of fir trees around the temple in the Song Dynasty. Su Zhe, a great writer in the Song Dynasty, wrote: "In the early years of Renzong, a monk planted thousands of Chinese fir trees for the purpose of building this temple, which is still given by the forbidden Buddha." Wanshan Temple was built in the Southern Liang Dynasty, formerly known as Qingyun Temple, and was called Qingyun Academy in the Tang Dynasty. During the period of Song Jingde, monks greatly expanded their temples. In Tiansheng, Renzong heard the beautiful scenery of Wanshan, named it "Wanshan Temple" and inscribed the plaque of "Golden Buddha Hall". Since then, Wanshan Temple has become famous, and eminent monks and famous Confucianism have been in constant contact. In Song Dynasty, Zhu Zeng came here to look for the poem Wanshan Temple. Admire the wonder of the mountains: "the diameter of the cedar in front of the door is deep, and the color of the cedar behind the house is strange"; Praise the Millennium Buddha's Light: "The rain and dew are in front, and the Millennium is turbid." It is recorded that Wanshan Temple has successively built the Golden Buddha Hall, Qingyun Pavilion, Wencui Pavilion, Zhu Sanchi and Zhu Sange. In addition, there have been many famous stone carvings on the lying stone wall. Among them, Song Renzong's imperial book "Guotai Clean" and Huaijing's broom book "Dragon and Tiger Lanqing" are particularly rare. "Dragon Tiger Lanqing" was originally carved on the boulder in front of the pagoda behind the temple, and the small stone next to it was also engraved with the words "Huaishu". It means that the temple is at the foot of Qingyun Mountain, and Qingyun Mountain is like a dragon and a tiger: the legendary anonymous person who left these four characters. Some monks said that the stone carvings were written by Bao Zheng. Another scholar has verified that it was written by someone who wrapped his pen with a broom and buried himself in reading. It's just like Xia Zi picking cattails for "Singing in the White Deer Cave". Clouds cover the fog, which is confusing and adds a rich legend to the ancient temple surrounded by mountains. Wanshan Temple was built many times in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Wanshan Temple was rebuilt on 1998.
