The story begins with a poem:
On this day last year, in this door,
Peach blossoms set each other off in red;
People don't know where to go,
Peach blossoms are still smiling in the spring breeze.
In the Tang Dynasty, a young scholar named Cui Hu went to Beijing to take an exam. On the occasion of Tomb-Sweeping Day, he went to Fan Chuan for a spring outing. All the way thirsty, I came to a farmhouse and knocked on the door to borrow water. The door opened and a girl came out of the room. She brought tea, leaned against the peach blossom and blushed. Although two people fell in love at first sight, there is no reason to confess to each other. Cui Hu finished drinking tea and had to thank him repeatedly, which was disappointing. Since then, the figure of this girl has been haunting his mind. In the second year in Tomb-Sweeping Day, Cui Hu went to look for it again, only to find that the farmer's peach blossoms were blooming and Chai Men was locked and disappeared. Disappointed, Cui Hu wrote a poem in Chai Men:
On this day last year, in this door,
Peach blossoms set each other off in red;
People don't know where to go,
Peach blossoms are still smiling in the spring breeze.
A few days later, Cui Hu went to look for it again. Then an old man came out of Chai Men. After asking the story, the old man leaned down and cried, "My daughter has been in a trance and lost something since Qingming last year. This year in Tomb-Sweeping Day, I went out to visit relatives with her. When I got home, I read the poem on the door. She got out of bed this morning and died. Did you kill her as a scholar? " Hearing this, Cui Hu only felt a bolt from the blue and his insides were burning. He begged the old man to let him see the girl again. He went to the girl's bedside, repeatedly calling and crying. An unexpected miracle happened. The girl gradually opened her eyes and came back from the dead. So, lovers get married.
I saw this story in Tai Ping Guang Ji, but it is certainly impossible to know whether it happened or not. But the old people in Duqu said they were here.
Taoxi Castle is where this story takes place.
Fan Chuan, Duqu and Taoxibao are the place names of Chang 'an, located in the southern suburbs of Chang 'an. As early as the Tang Dynasty, Chang 'an had the custom of spring outing. The southern suburb of Chang 'an is also a sacred place with beautiful scenery, and this generation is crowded with tourists every spring.
Actually, none of this matters. What attracts me most are the love stories that have been passed down through the ages. I really hope that all lovers will be well!
