Rules of World Amateur Go Championship

The World Amateur Go Championship has been held once a year since 1979 (it was suspended due to SARS in 2003). The first five sessions were hosted by Japan Chess Academy, and the elimination system was adopted. The sixth session began to be hosted by international go federation, and the points system was adopted. There is a game every morning and afternoon. Began to adopt the Japanese rule, each side is limited to one and a half hours, and the black side is glued to the white side for five and a half eyes first. Later, the rules of the International Weiqi Federation were adopted, and the black paste was 6.5 eyes. The basic time of the competition is each party 1 hour. After use, either party has the right to delay three 30 seconds. The third time is the last 1 sec, and the timeout judgment is negative. A voice timer is used, and the player rings the bell himself.

The competition adopts the integral arrangement system, with eight rounds. 1, win 2 points in each game, and the one with the highest score ranks first.

2. When the scores are the same, those with smaller scores (the sum of opponents' scores) and those with higher scores rank first.

3. When the scores are the same, it is allowed to be tied regardless of the admission ranking; If ranking is involved, the remaining small points of the opponent's points in the first round will be removed, and the one with higher remaining small points will rank first; If they are equal again, the second round and the third round are removed in turn for comparison.

If they are still the same, compare the winners and losers.

5. If it is still the same, then compare the highest scores of opponents in turn.

6. If you still can't tell, draw lots to decide the ranking.
