Hanshan Temple is located in Dongmen Road, south of the city. According to legend, in the fourth year of the Ming Dynasty's apocalypse, Zhu, the wife of Yang Junmen, took a boat from Suzhou to Chongming to cut her hair and build Hanshan Temple, where two statues were found for Hanshan.
