Will monks be driven out of the temple if they kill?

Generally speaking, breaking a precept is breaking a very light precept.

If it is a severe commandment, it is called breaking it.

At present, among Buddhist sects, precepts are the most important and precepts are the teachers.

Discipline is a very important part of the monk community.

The punishment method of monks breaking the precepts

According to the Nanbali Law, monks are divided into: 1 and four-wheel drive: if anyone violates any of the under the temptation, monks will be expelled. 2. Thirteen Monks: There are thirteen commandments. As long as one of them is broken, twenty monks will decide whether to leave the monk and live alone for a few days according to the severity of the crime. (Implicitly punish him for leading an honest and clean life and not participating in the life of monks for the time being. ) 3. Thirty Disclaimers: There are thirty rules related to daily necessities such as clothes, bowls or food. If things are stored too much or beyond the storage period, they must be donated, and they should report their crimes to one or two or three or four or more monks and repent. 4. Ninety-two confessions: There are ninety-two Pali laws * * *, and the punishment method is similar to that of thirty confessions, except for the process of giving away articles. 5. Four confessions: The Pali law does not record the punishment method. Referring to the five laws translated into Chinese (five-point method, monk-specific method, four-point method, ten-point method and fundamental method), in principle, when a monk commits one of the four repentance crimes, he should confess to the "one" monk. 6. Learn from others: There are fifteen commandments of "always remind yourself to learn". The Bali Law does not explain the way of punishment, but it emphasizes that "we should learn", so it is not convenient to make unnecessary explanations according to the law. If you violate the "learning from the scriptures" in the Chinese version of the Law, you should repent in your heart. This is based on theory. If you break the monk's commandment 1~6, the main punishment is "expelling the monk group", followed by "staying away from all monks for a few days", the third is "confessing to more than one monk after abandoning things", and the last is "reminding yourself of the rules and regulations of life that you should learn". In fact, if we look at the way monks are punished for breaking the precepts, the most serious thing is to expel them, or practice alone for a few days, or find a monk to repent. Strictly speaking, it doesn't seem to be some severe punishment methods in the secular imagination, such as beating with a stick for 30 hours or kneeling for hours or days, cleaning chores or confinement. As for the home part: breaking the precepts will not be punished. Before talking about this, we must first understand the spirit of abstinence at home and the source of abstinence at home. 1. The spirit of "introspection and self-discipline" is implied in Family Instructions: it can be understood that "mastering the hadith" comes from the inner understanding of "introspection and self-discipline", and the hadith is not taught by teachers or learned from the outside world, so it is possible to achieve the "hadith" on its own. 2. The root of "abstinence at home" comes from "Ten Good Deeds": "Buddha tells monks. Learn from each other and get close to each other. Listen carefully. Good idea. Speak for you. How to learn from each other? People who kill. The killer is familiar with this. Stealing, whoring, lying, two tongues, filthy mouths, lewd language, greed and Jaken. All the classes are closer to each other. Such as unclean things. Unclean things are self-consistent. If it is. Murder. Murder. Even Jaken Jaken learned from each other. If it is. Monks don't kill. Learn from each other without killing. Even the right view. The right views are closer to each other. Like netting things. The net is self-consistent and integrated. Milk and raw cheese. Cheese makes people brittle. A refreshing life is sobering. Self-consistency and harmony If it is. Don't kill anyone. No, it's closer. Even the right view. The right views are closer to each other. It is a way to learn from monks. "Theft, lewdness, lying, two tongues, foul mouth, strange language, greed and Jaken (delusion)" in this sutra are the so-called "ten evils", but "don't steal, don't be lewd, don't lie, don't talk, don't swear, don't be greedy and don't swear. It can be said that "Ten Kindness" is the earliest prototype of precepts. However, due to the state of spiritual achievement of "neither greedy nor stupid", the degree is too difficult for ordinary beginners. Therefore, for the achievements of ordinary disciples in abstinence, give up these three items. In addition, Agama's 1044 classic talked about the "hadith", but did not mention the "prohibition of alcohol" established for disciples (whether at home or becoming a monk) in the later period. Therefore, it is not difficult to understand that the "planting holy precepts" mentioned in the 1044 sutra is a "precept" set by the Buddha for his early disciples. As for comparing Zaahan's 1044 Sutra with Zaahan's 1045 Sutra, it is not difficult to understand that the prototype of the precepts is "Ten Kindness". Through the introspection training of abstinence, we can first achieve the "sacred precepts", and then follow the training of "meditation" and "wisdom" to achieve the three virtues of "not greedy, not greedy and not stupid" This is the process of training according to the "three learning" (abstinence, determination and wisdom) and finally completing the "ten good". Although there seems to be no serious punishment for breaking the precepts at home or becoming a monk, if we understand that the prototype of breaking the precepts comes from "ten good deeds", it is not difficult to understand that "karma" has its own reasons, that is to say, although there is no serious punishment for breaking the precepts at home or becoming a monk, it is based on the principle of "karma corresponds". Since the prototype of the precepts is "ten good deeds", if you have achieved the "holy precepts" Then, it is not difficult to understand that no matter how you break the precepts at home or how you become a monk, you must learn to be perfect, and you don't have to give up easily in the training of precepts. Note: 1 Please refer to Za agama 1044. 2. Some Buddhist disciples who spread to the north discussed whether to leave the five precepts at home, referring to "the Buddha said that the five precepts of wandering women are interlinked", but there are actually many problems hidden in this scripture. Q from Zhan Ran: When Sheila Dade became a monk, she was asked by the Ten Commandments, which made it difficult to hide thirteen sins, two dirty deeds, three nausea, four broken internal and external channels, five yellow doors, six dead ancestors, eight dead arhats, nine broken monks, ten evil Buddha's body and blood, eleven non-human and animal, and thirteen and two difficult things. Because monks who have been taught precepts and Dojo before have asked about becoming monks, they will ask me questions. If there is any trouble, please forgive the rules of northern communication. Sheila replied: the law of northward transmission? Do you know that the Buddha has such a rule? If you don't read the law collection, how do you know if others have a correct view of the commandments? Today, you can answer all the questions you want to know about the commandments, but the problem is that you lack an exploratory heart, a realistic heart and a speculative power. This problem has never been solved. French friends say that you can't read family training at home, but at the same time you should discuss family training with others. Isn't that a contradiction? If a dharma friend really wants to become a monk, explain the monk's commandments clearly, because that will be the code of conduct you will follow in the future. Make sure you are sure or confident to think about becoming a monk again. If you can't do this, talking about becoming a monk won't have any practical results, because you can't even judge whether the group of monks you want to join is as good as the law stipulates. " Hildade, is it difficult for Buddhism to become a monk in the north to be required by the Ten Commandments? "After a long time, French friends will ask this kind of question, or the old question: French friends, you have been poisoned by the Elephant Law, and the residue is still unclear! The so-called "border crime" in law means: "Once a monk was bound by his feet, and then he committed the crime of" killing thieves and committing adultery "(beheading) and was expelled from the monk group. People like this are not allowed to become monks in the future. In fact, after becoming a monk, this under the temptation was broken, which was worse than the people who kept the Five Commandments at home. Just as ordinary laymen don't obey the precepts, it is natural to be expelled from the monk group. After a monk becomes a monk, if he doesn't break the four commandments of "killing thieves and committing adultery" (this is the minimum for monks to quit), people who generally want to become a monk can go back and forth at most. However, if expelled from the monks' group, the so-called people who commit border crimes can no longer become monks. Women in the monk group only have one chance to become monks. They want to be secularized or deported for committing border crimes, and they are not allowed to become monks in the future. The theory of "false sutra as dharma" is a false sutra at home according to Buddhist precepts. Then one person led others blindly, and later someone made notes on it. I guess you should have read the annotation of this fake sutra: "The Buddha said that the five precepts are related to the sutra", which wrote the so-called "border crime" of the family: "Kill the precepts with the five principles and regret it." One is a person. (refers to the person who was killed. Non-animals, etc. ) two people think. (it means killing people. ) Three kills and four breaths are convenient. He died five years ago. This is self-inflicted. Teach people. It is convenient to send a special envoy to kill the heart. So when you take that life, you can't repent. An unrepentant person. When I was first stopped by that wonderful woman. Say three things and get back to reality. So as to obtain acyclic bodies. I committed murder today. Then there is no abstinence. No longer a good woman. Therefore, you should not repent. No regrets. Then abandon the Buddha beach forever. It's called border crime. Don't be subject to the five commandments. They will not be bound by the precepts of Baguan Pavilion for one day and one night, nor will they be bound by the precepts of Misha and monks. Nor is it bound by the great precepts of the Bodhisattva. However, we should learn from each other in a big way. Meet each other You can only accept bodhisattva amulets. It is also allowed to be punished again. Ten commandments. Eight precepts, five precepts, etc. Crime of breaking the precepts. Although it was destroyed by taking pictures. Don't lose three coats. However, its secular sexual crimes still exist. So, when will the karma be encountered? You still have to pay off your debts. In addition to nirvana, he was born in the west. It is possible to get rid of it. Not to be heard. Do not give up. It is this scribbled annotation and editing that makes the problems and misunderstandings more serious. What a mess. The content of the book "Xiang Jie Sutra of Buddha's Saying that a wandering woman fills my country" is similar to that written by a monk's precept, but later generations did not distinguish its authenticity. Later generations annotated this apocrypha, and some of its contents were arbitrarily extended and scribbled. Later generations looked for this annotation to read, fearing that they could not understand it, and accumulated more error information. That's terrible. I hope other lawyers can learn from these things. The "elephant law" is terrible, and the "orthodox law" is destroyed because of its appearance. How terrible it is, it's really terrible. This is the writing method of "imitating the law and apocrypha", which contains "the truth of the true law", but it is mixed with "imitating the law" in some key points, and the standard is "confusing the true with the false". The question is, how dare these people do such a thing? How dare ordinary people do such a thing? So the Buddha said, "Even the' evil ones' were born. Enjoy doing all kinds of evil. Want to do all kinds of evil. Achieve all kinds of evil deeds. Illegal speech. Illegal speech. Illegal speech. Illegal speech. Illegal speech. And so on. This sentence is very tasty. Tathagata Buddhism is here, not here. " (miscellaneous, including 906 classics). Fayou, if you have never become a monk, there is no problem of "border crime". At the beginning of the discussion topic, the problem of worrying about the border was mentioned, and the doubts have been dispelled as mentioned above. Again, if you are worried that the monk who gave the ring can't tell the original meaning of the "border crime" and ask for cover-up, you will mistakenly refuse to give the monk the ring. This seems to be a great blow to people who want to become monks, but it is not necessarily a bad thing from the two important karma that should be prepared first. Because if the ordained monk can't tell the original meaning of "border crime", it also means that he can't or lacks the ability to teach the precepts correctly in the future, then it is a good thing not to become a monk with this ordained monk. This kind of thing really happened. Some monks misjudged, but others really understood the original meaning of "border crime". It is not difficult to see the difference between the two. Does the crime of enchantment mentioned in the thirteenth question include the four felonies after being subjected to the five commandments in white at home? (especially the deviant behavior of young male and female friends. A: Border crime refers to the four prohibitions committed as a monk (nun), and white clothes are not included. Therefore, I heard that Bai Yi was banned because of unmarried cohabitation or abortion in the past. After the incident was exposed, she was convicted of "lewdness" and "murder" by the Master of Laws. In fact, this is quite different from the original intention of the legal system of "border crime". Before staying at home, it was not called "boundary crime" under temptation, but only called making a family (Nepal). Since becoming a monk, repeating these four felonies is like a person who has transcended the boundaries of Buddhism and cannot bear to enter the ocean of pure precepts again, so it is called "boundary crime". 5. How to enlighten people when they are dead is correct? A: If he has converted to Sambo, please remember the bright power of Sambo, the merits of converting to Sambo, and the merits of giving precepts when he is alive. Please know that there is infinite light and joy where these merits are felt, so please get rid of any negative thoughts and emotions and concentrate on remembering these merits. Abandon darkness and move towards light.
