Guan Yu (16 1-220), a native of Hedong (now Yuncheng, Shanxi), was a famous Shu in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. Traveling around the world with Liu Bei in his early days. He was captured alive by Cao Cao and killed Yan Liang, the general of Yuan Shao, in Bai Mapo. Together with Zhang Fei, they are called ten thousand enemies.
Guan Yu is the man who has gone through five customs and killed six generals. At that time, Liu Bei captured Hanzhong, so Guan Yu fled from Cao Cao and finally met Liu Bei along the way. However, the plot of going through five customs and beheading six generals was fabricated by the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which was not recorded in the official history. Guan Yu's five passes and six passes will be Kong Xiu in Dongling Pass, Meng Tan and Han Fu in Luoyang, Bian Xi in Surabaya Pass, Wang Zhi in Xingyang and Chyi Chin at the Yellow River Ferry.
