I. Competition regime

1. The class is divided into men's and women's teams, and the captain is elected as the organizer of the debate in the team. Each team will send six representatives to participate, that is, six debaters, including six students in the first and fourth debates/kloc-0, and two students in the second and third debates, that is, six students in the pros and cons. In addition, the monitor is always responsible for the organization of the debate, and six students are needed as the staff of the debate: 1 debate host, 1 timekeeper.

2. The competition consists of four parts: player's statement, attack and debate (cross-examination), free debate and concluding speech. It is required to express in Mandarin.

Four. Debate procedure (60 minutes in total)

1. Demo stage (6 minutes)

(1) Make a positive statement in the debate for 3 minutes.

2. Attack and defense (cross-examination) stage (16 minutes) (Note: the attacker refers to the party who asks questions, and the defender refers to the party who answers questions).

(1) The first round of attack and debate: Ask questions to the opposing party in the debate of positive 222 or negative 222 or negative 222, one question at a time, and the number of times is unlimited; The other party answers the questions raised; The total time is 4 minutes.

3. Free debate stage (30 minutes)

Positive speech first, negative speech later, positive and negative sides take turns to speak. If one party gives up speaking, the other party can continue to speak. The speaker can be a debater or other students. )

Each party has three minutes to ask and answer questions.

4. Summary stage (8 minutes, 4 minutes for each party)

3. Attack and defense (two debates and three debates) (note: the offensive side refers to the party who asks questions, and the defensive side refers to the party who answers questions)

(1) The debate on offense and defense begins with two debates, and the pros and cons alternate.

(2) The pros and cons participate in the debate. Two or three arguments must be used as an attacker once; The defense is arbitrarily designated by the attacker, and the number of times is not limited. Both the offensive and defensive sides must complete this round of attack and defense independently, and cannot be replaced in the middle.

(3) Both sides must answer each other's questions directly, and the questions and answers should be concise and clear. Repeated questions and evasive questions will be deducted. In each round of attack and defense, the roles of attack and defense shall not be exchanged, the defense shall not ask questions, and the attacker shall not answer questions.

(4) Each round of debate lasts for 4 minutes, and the time for the attacker to ask questions shall not exceed 20 seconds, and each round of questions shall not exceed 4 questions. The defense cannot answer for more than 50 seconds at a time. Time is up. Dictation? Pause? Stop speaking, if both sides have not finished asking or answering questions, no points will be deducted.

4, free debate (all students need to pay attention! Graders should pay special attention to the recording time and the names of the students who speak, and if the students who speak are the main debaters, they should also accumulate the number of speeches)

(1) At this stage, the debater and other students automatically take turns to speak. The free debate speech must take turns between the two teams. First, the player on the positive side speaks, and then the player on the negative side speaks. Both sides take turns until the time runs out.

(2) The speaker's seat marks the beginning of the other speaker's speech at the end of the speech. The other debater must first report the last two digits of his student number and then speak immediately.

(3) In terms of total time, there is no limit to the order, times and time of speaking.

(4) Free debate advocates active confrontation, and the party who avoids confrontation more than twice on important issues will be deducted, and the questions that the other party has clearly answered will be deducted appropriately.

(5) The host, scorekeeper, timekeeper and judges do not participate in the free debate.

5. Closing arguments (four points need special attention)

Both sides of the debate should make a summary statement on the overall situation of the debate; Be divorced from reality and deduct points appropriately.

6. During the competition, the debater and other students are not allowed to leave their seats or disturb the other side or their debater. Otherwise, team points will be deducted as appropriate.

Scoring rules:

(1) For the scores of teachers and four student judges, the student judges need to remove the highest score and the lowest score before calculating the average score.

(2) The winner of this debate is the party with the highest score in the group, and other classes vote for the winner of the best debater in this debate (one for the pros and one for the cons).

VII. Incentives

1. The average score of each debater participating in this debate is 6 points (including 8 points for the best debater), 4 points for the host and team leader, 3 points for the timekeeper and judges, and 2 points for the scorer;

2. In the free debate stage, other students will get 1 point for one speech, but no more than 4 points (the scorekeeper is responsible for recording the speakers). When a student can have two jobs at the same time, the scores can be accumulated, but the maximum can not exceed 8 points;

3. Each member of the team where the group score leader of the debating competition is located will receive 4 points;

4. For students who are not debaters and have no chance to participate in the free debate, they can email their opinions to the teacher after the game, and the teacher will give extra points as appropriate, but the electronic homework will not affect the total score of the debate team;

Note: For those who attack others personally or use uncivilized language, the average score will be deducted 1 point, and the scorekeeper will be responsible for recording.

5. During the debate, the pros and cons take the middle passage of the classroom as the dividing line and sit in the seats on both sides of the aisle respectively;
