Haiyang Sports School in Shandong Province is a public provincial general secondary sports school. Its brief introduction is as follows: Haiyang Sports School in Shandong Province was founded in 1973, located at No.65 Wenhua East Road, Jinan City, Shandong Province. In 2000, it was approved by the provincial government and merged into Shandong Institute of Physical Education, so it was also called Shandong Haiyang Institute of Physical Education Sports School. It is the only provincial general secondary sports school in Haiyang City, Shandong Province, and was designated by the Ministry of Education in 2004.
The school now offers 15 sports training programs, including track and field, weightlifting, wrestling, judo, basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis, archery, swimming, martial arts, boxing, Sanda, taekwondo and rock climbing. He was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award for Revitalizing Linyi Sports by the municipal government for many times, and was awarded the title of "Advanced Amateur Training Unit in Shandong Province" for many times, and was approved as youth sports by the State Sports General Administration. It was identified as a training and teaching practice base by Shandong Institute of Physical Education and an excellent student source base by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. In 2007, the "Shandong International Wrestling Excellent Sports Team Reserve Talent Training Base" was successfully established.
