What does it mean to be selected for the national table tennis team?

Have the ability and qualification to participate in international competitions. On August 20th, 2020, China Table Tennis Association announced that the National Table Tennis Youth Training Team and the National Table Tennis Children Training Team will be formally established by the end of 2020. The national youth team will consist of 32 men and 32 women aged between 1 1- 14, while the national youth team will consist of 32 men and 32 women aged between 7- 10. The junior table tennis team represents the hope of the new table tennis youth in China, and participating in the junior table tennis team means having the ability and qualification to participate in international competitions and win glory for our country.
