Where the sixth-generation fighter will develop is a topic that has not been determined by all countries in the world. However, no matter which country's research direction, it is bound to seek greater breakthroughs in four aspects: full-band stealth, hypersonic cruise, unmanned combat and super-situational awareness. With the maturity of UAV technology, AI intelligent technology will become the core technology of the sixth generation fighter.
As early as 20 17, American officials bluntly said in the article "air combat communication in a networked environment": "artificial intelligence is surpassing the ability of human beings to connect with it." Recently, an article in the American science magazine "The Sixth Generation Fighter in the United States may change the war as we know it" also said: "The computer processing capacity of the Sixth Generation Fighter will far exceed the level of the existing platform and reshape the war mode."
Some time ago, the US military conducted a simulated air combat confrontation between AI intelligent unmanned combat and top pilots of the US Air Force. The results show that the combat effectiveness of AI intelligence far exceeds that of human pilots with an overwhelming advantage of five to zero. No matter how you train, there is a limit to the human brain's ability to accept and react, but the research and development of computer chips and software technology is really endless and can be updated iteratively all the time. Therefore, AI intelligent technology is entirely possible and capable of assisting or even completely replacing pilots in combat. With the comprehensive integration and rapid development of AI intelligence, super visual perception and other technologies, unmanned combat will become the mainstream of future air combat.
In just over ten years, Alpha Dog has defeated the top human Go players. Once the technical problems between the fifth-generation fighter and the sixth-generation fighter are crossed, the fighter field will achieve no less than a leap from propeller fighter to supersonic speed, and a series of revolutions such as air force tactics will be epoch-making.
Although the United States is still in the forefront of the world in the research and development of the sixth generation aircraft, especially in the engine, western countries also have certain advantages by virtue of their own technical foundation. However, we are in the forefront of the world in the most important technology of the sixth generation aircraft-full-band stealth. Stealth technology will have great advantages for countries without stealth machines. Israel's F-35 is the best example of the Middle East war, but the F-35 is not as good as the J-20. In the near future, I believe that our sixth generation machine will also be at the top of the world.
