Although I don't have any pressure, my mother thinks that all the students who entered the finals have a high level and good oral English. You started learning English late, and you usually don't practice at home. Don't expect too much from rankings and rewards, just focus on participation.

After listening to my mother's words, I didn't take it to heart, but continued to recite the speech carefully, thinking that I must win the prize.

Time came to this day unconsciously, and I don't know how many, because I don't know the strength of other players. However, I still have confidence in myself and hope I can get a good result.

That afternoon, I came to the meeting early. I found that all the students who came here were reading their speeches carefully. I found a seat in the front, while reading the speech, waiting for the game to start.

At two o'clock sharp, the game officially began. The host Vivian read out the competition rules and scoring standards. Then we go to the judges' box and draw lots to decide the order of the competition. I thought I could get the middle place, but I didn't expect to get the second place. It seems that we need to behave well.

It will be my turn soon. I took the microphone from the teacher, stepped onto the platform and bowed first. After a short pause, he began to speak. The content of my speech is to introduce my school life, because I have practiced it countless times at home. I already know the content by heart, and I'm not nervous. However, I don't know why there seems to be something wrong with the microphone on the road, so that the sound everyone hears is intermittent. I was not disturbed by this little question, so I tried to speak loudly, and when the microphone was ready, I lowered my voice a little. In this way, everyone didn't hear any change in the voice. Before I knew it, my speech was over. At this time, it is the turn of the foreign teacher to ask questions. I walked off the stage and randomly selected two from a sheet piling, namely a banana and a boy. I take a closer look and answer. Well, I passed the customs smoothly, and my mood was relaxed at once. .

I thought the contestants who participated in this speech were very strong, but I didn't expect that almost all of them were extremely nervous, which affected their respective strengths. This let my hanging heart down a little.

It's time to announce the results. I listened nervously and carefully. Oh! I got a total score of 94 points, successfully entered the top three and won the third prize! There are not only scholarships, but also certificates and a set of Disney school supplies. It seems that my efforts have not been in vain, and my wish to win the prize has come true.

However, I can't be proud and can't satisfy this small achievement. In the future, I will make persistent efforts, listen more and practice more, strive for a higher level of oral English and achieve better results in future competitions.
