Rules of figure skating pairs skating competition
There are two events in pairs skating:
(1) Create a program. Formerly known as double free skating or short program. The International Skating Federation has announced the prescribed movements in the program created by two people, each group includes 8 movements, and the whole set of movements should not exceed 2 minutes and 40 seconds. Music is optional, each action is only allowed to be done once, and points will be deducted for doing one more action.
② Double free skating. Athletes choose their own music, write their own routines, and skate in 4 minutes and 30 seconds, including single action and double action (typical double action). The scoring method of double skating and single skating is the same, but the consistency of their movements should be considered.

1, straight step? Start from any position on the short board wall and slide to any position on the opposite short board wall to keep the shape of a straight line.
2. Circular steps? Make full use of the width of the ice to slide a whole circle or ellipse.
3. Serpentine steps? Start at one end of the ice, slide out of at least two big arcs and end at the other end of the ice.
(2) Swallowing continuous step
The pattern of swallow-shaped steps is graded by the combination of arcs (on different leaves). Each person should complete at least 2 Swallow-like poses, and each Swallow-like pose should last at least 3 seconds.
(3) Single rotation
1, adult short programs must include single joint rotation, and only one foot change and at least one posture change are allowed.
2. Adult freestyle skating events include single-person combined rotation, and each position rotates for at least 2 weeks. If it is not achieved, it will not be counted in this position.
Double joint rotation and double rotation rules:
1. The adult short program must include a double-joint twist, and only one foot change and at least one posture change are allowed.
2. Adult freestyle skating must include two people's combined rotation and rotate in one position for at least 2 weeks. If you can't meet this rule, posture doesn't count.
If all the basic postures add up to less than 2 weeks, there is no grade and no score.
Short programs run for at least 8 weeks, both of which include at least two basic postures or their variations.
The total number of free sliding double rotations is at least 8 times, and the total number of double rotations is at least 6 times. If the rotation is less than 3 cycles, it is considered as a sliding action rather than a rotation.
The specified minimum number of cycles of rotation must be from the beginning to the end of rotation. Two people have to change their feet at least once, but they don't need to change their feet at the same time. Two people must change their positions at least once in the joint rotation.
(4) Jump
In jumping, the number of jumping weeks of two people is different. Whether it is single jump, joint jump or continuous jump, jumping will be scored according to the lower number of turning weeks.
Adult short program: there must be a single jump (any two-week or three-week jump)
Adult free skating: There must be at most one single jump and at most one combined jump or continuous jump.
Joint jump: only two jumps are allowed in the joint jump, and the landing foot of the first jump must be the jumping foot of the second jump.
Continuous hop: continuous hop can be composed of any number of hops and any number of hops. Keep the rhythm of the jump (knee), and no turning, stepping or ice pushing is allowed in the continuous jump.
(5) Throwing and jumping
1. Throwing jump is a peer-assisted jump. The female companion was thrown into the air by the male companion when she took off. Without the help of her companion, the male companion could not turn around before the female companion was thrown into the air.
2. Adult short-term events must include a jump (2 weeks or 3 weeks).
3. Adult freestyle skating includes at most two different throws, and a few athletes use throwing around in freestyle skating to get high marks.
(6) Elevator
Double elevators are grouped as follows:
Group one? Keep an underarm posture
The second group? Waist-hugging posture
The third group? Hip posture
Group four? Hand-in-hand posture (pressure increase)
Group five? Hand in hand posture (cable lifting)
Adult short programs must include hand-in-hand lifts and take-offs.
Adult freestyle skating is allowed up to 3 lifts, one of which must come from the third or fourth group. (If you do two turns, the maximum number of lifts is two).
(7) Twist
Before the twisted female companion falls off the ice, the male companion must hold her waist in the air and put it on the ice smoothly. After one foot falls off the ice, the male partner also wants one foot to slide down.
The short program must include a twist, and the take-off of the twist is to limit the female partner to take off in Lutz or Philip, and the adult female partner must turn in the air for 2 or 3 weeks.
Free-skating events can include turning.
Or two twists. The take-off mode of female partner in free skating can be different from that of Raz or Philip, and there is no limit to the number of laps in the air when turning.
(8) Spiral line
When the female partner makes the last position of the spiral, both men and women should complete at least one full circle of sliding, and the male partner should make a complete posture and clear knee bending movements.
Helices are divided into: rear outer edge helix, front inner edge helix, rear inner edge helix and front outer edge helix.
Adult short programs must include the spiral of the back outer edge.
Adult free skating must include any kind of spiral.
Points for attention in skating
1. Practice new skills on flat ground, not on slopes.
2. Be sure to wear a helmet and protective gear.
3. Stay away from the dangerous areas of sliding: sand, branches, leaves, gravel, oil stains, beaches, and squares that will eat wheels.
4. If the danger zone is inevitably low, try to focus on the heel and slide or cross straight ahead.
5. When encountering a low wall: first stop completely and step across.
6. Be careful when you slide on the expressway! Sometimes cars, taxis and bicycles are unpredictable. Leave enough space for yourself. Pay attention to the driver's movements and judge his route to prevent the door from suddenly opening. People are forbidden to wear skates on the roads of big cities in China, so you should be careful. The police are always in front of you.
7. Wear reflective protective gear and small lights in places with insufficient light.
8. Don't wear headphones when skating. Although it's cool, it will affect your concentration.
