The origin of Shehu Mountain
There is a famous Antang on Shehu Mountain,1called Yunlin Temple more than 200 years ago, and there is a big horizontal plaque of Yunshan Temple. Later, it was built, renamed Yunlin Temple in the Tang Dynasty, and given a plaque by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. Since the song dynasty, people have called it "the snake lake and the mountain." The most famous deity in Antang is Bodhisattva Rhoda. It is said that in the year of the great disaster, a doctor Shen came from Luoyang, lived in a cave in the eastern suburb of Shaoyang, and later moved to Shehu Mountain to help the people with medical skills, which won the support of the people, built temples for them and saved the people. On August 11, the fourteenth year of Tianbao, he ascended to heaven and became king. The people molded his god and burned incense and worshipped him forever. At present, the temple covers an area of more than 600 square meters, including eight main halls, back halls and attached halls, as well as nine restaurants, shops and houses. This year, it has invested/kloc-0.9 million yuan to build two new pavilions and other ancient buildings. Up to now, tourists pilgrims have gathered here from all directions. Shehu Mountain is surrounded by cigarettes, and people who draw lots, worship gods, give gifts and make wishes compete with each other. All pilgrims who burn incense in Nanyue must burn incense on the mountain and pay homage to the incense. Incense is burning all year round here, and tourists are weaving. Shehu Mountain has not only magical temples, but also legendary stories.
