First, enrollment targets and registration conditions
All high school graduates who meet the requirements of the unified national examination for enrollment of ordinary colleges and universities in 2020, have excellent comprehensive quality or top-notch basic subjects, have a strong interest in biological sciences and a spirit of hard study, meet the requirements of professional enrollment physical examination, and are interested in engaging in scientific and technological work in related fields in the future can sign up. Candidates applying for registration are divided into the following two categories:
The first category: candidates with excellent results in the college entrance examination
Candidates' college entrance examination scores (excluding any policy bonus points, the same below) shall not be lower than the minimum admission control scores of a number of undergraduate courses in 2020 determined by the province where they are located (refer to the corresponding minimum admission control scores of some special types determined by the province, the same below). The online score is 40 points (provinces with college entrance examination scores other than 750 points are determined by college entrance examination scores of *40/750, rounded and converted).
The second category: candidates with outstanding talent and performance in related disciplines.
Candidates who won the second prize and above in the national finals of the Olympic Games in five disciplines for middle school students in high school, and whose college entrance examination scores reached the minimum control score for the admission of a batch of undergraduate students in 2020, can directly obtain the qualification for the assessment of the shortlisted schools.
Second, the enrollment major and enrollment plan
The enrollment plan of Qiangji University in 2020 is biological science, and the number of enrollment plans is 30. The provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) to be enrolled include: Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hunan, Guangdong, Hainan and Sichuan. See the registration system for the specific enrollment plans of each province.
In 2020, the requirements for the selected subjects of biological sciences in Beijing, Shandong and Hainan are: chemistry, biology and physics (candidates can apply for one of the three subjects). The above-mentioned other provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) only recruit science and engineering candidates.
Three. Registration method and selection procedure
(1) Time and method of registration
Candidates will log on to the registration platform of China Ocean University's Strong Foundation Project (website: /jcxkzs/sch/ 10423) from May 65438 to May 3, 2020, and complete the online registration accurately and completely as required. The number of registered schools is limited to 1, and it is not allowed to apply to other universities.
(2) The examination method for short-listed schools
Before July 26th, for the candidates of the first category, according to the results of the college entrance examination, the list of shortlisted candidates in colleges and universities in each province will be determined according to four times the number of enrollment plans in each province (all candidates with the same final score will be shortlisted), and the shortlisting criteria will be publicized. For the second type of candidates, those who meet the requirements of the school and the corresponding college entrance examination results can be shortlisted.
(3) School evaluation
The school plans to conduct an assessment from July 28th to August 4th, which includes an interview and a sports test. The interview adopts the method of "double random" lottery between experts and candidates, and the whole process is recorded and tested.
1. Interview: Focus on students' ability to analyze and solve problems, innovative thinking, career aspirations and hobbies, and comprehensively examine students' comprehensive quality, cultivation potential and foreign language application ability. At the same time, the school will also organize experts to use candidates' comprehensive quality files as reference materials in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Measures for the Use of Senior High School Students' Comprehensive Quality Files of China Ocean University.
2. Sports test: Candidates who enter the assessment link must take the sports test. The test contents include: body mass index, body mass index (measuring height and weight), vital capacity, sitting forward and standing long jump. The full mark of each item is 100, and the test score is subject to the third grade group standard of the corresponding item in the National Student Physical Health Standard (20 14 edition). Those who fail the physical education test will not be admitted.
Note: Due to the epidemic situation in COVID-19, the school evaluation work plan may be adjusted according to the local epidemic situation. If there is any change, notice will be given separately.
(4) Admission method
1. Conversion method of comprehensive score
Composition of comprehensive score: school assessment score (converted from full score 100) × 15%+ college entrance examination score (converted from full score 100) ×85%.
2. Determine the admission list
For the first type of candidates, the school will determine the pre-admission list of the strong foundation plan according to the enrollment quota of the provinces where the candidates are located and the comprehensive scores from high to low. When the comprehensive scores of candidates are the same, the ranking basis is: school assessment scores, college entrance examination total scores, college entrance examination math scores, college entrance examination Chinese scores, and college entrance examination Chinese scores.
For the second type of candidates, those whose comprehensive scores reach the minimum admission score of the first type of candidates in the same province will be admitted.
The school enrollment work leading group shall examine and approve the pre-admission list of the strong foundation plan according to the enrollment plan, and submit it to the provincial admissions office for review and go through the admission procedures.
Our school will announce the admission list and admission criteria before August 5. Candidates who are officially admitted will no longer participate in the voluntary admission of the follow-up college entrance examination in this province (autonomous region or municipality); Candidates who have not been admitted can normally participate in the voluntary admission of subsequent batches in this province (autonomous regions and municipalities).
Fourth, the training plan.
(a) Master-Master Connection Training Plan
Implement the top-notch innovative talent training mode of "mentoring" docking. In the first three years, general education, subject education and scientific research training were mainly carried out, and students who reached the academic level entered the postgraduate stage; In the middle two years, he mainly conducted postgraduate professional education and scientific research; The last four years are the doctoral training stage, during which I have 1 year experience in international cooperation training.
(b) Phased assessment and diversion measures
The major will dynamically adjust students at the end of the first and second years of undergraduate course, and students who are not suitable for the training mode of strong basic plan will be transferred out of the class and enter the ordinary class to continue their studies. At the same time, through relevant procedures, students with outstanding achievements and outstanding scientific research ability are selected from the first and second year undergraduate students to supplement the strong foundation plan.
At the end of the third year of undergraduate course, students who are deemed not to have the training potential of strong foundation plan are diverted to ordinary classes to complete their undergraduate studies, and other students enter the postgraduate study stage in accordance with the latest relevant policies of the Ministry of Education and the school.
In the second academic year of postgraduate stage, according to the detailed rules for the implementation of relevant work in schools and colleges, students who fail to pass the evaluation of expert working groups quit the "master's degree" training mode and are trained according to the general degree postgraduate training mode.
(3) Other incentive mechanisms
1. In combination with the relevant policies of the Ministry of Education, through the "undergraduate-master-doctor" connection mechanism in the school, we will strive to expand the proportion of undergraduates who meet the academic standards of the strong foundation plan to enter the postgraduate stage without examination; Combined with the support of the national policy of sending international students, students with strong basic projects are given priority to complete their doctoral degrees abroad.
2. Establish a special scholarship for "Strong Foundation" to reward students who have made outstanding achievements in course study and scientific research; Set up a "visiting scholarship abroad" to support students to go abroad for short-term study (course study), short-term scientific research or scientific research training, high-level academic conferences and high-level summer schools.
3. Establish a "growth file" for each student to track the growth of students. Establish graduate information feedback mechanism and talent growth database, and continuously improve student training according to quality information and feedback information; The quality management and self-evaluation of students' training can be realized by means of school professional evaluation, students' learning experience survey, teaching supervision, curriculum evaluation and teacher assistance.
4. The school will take effective measures to mobilize teachers' enthusiasm, initiative and sense of honor in the work of cultivating students in the strong foundation plan. Specifically, it includes: making separate policies for teachers selected by the Strong Foundation Program in terms of class remuneration and performance, giving preferential treatment in terms of awards and titles, and encouraging teachers to make outstanding achievements in teaching, teaching reform, textbook compilation, students' academic guidance and scientific research training.
Other explanations of verb (abbreviation of verb)
(A) on the students' comprehensive quality files. In the provinces that have established a unified information platform at the provincial level, the provincial education administrative department will upload the electronic comprehensive quality files of candidates to the registration system of the Xeon Plan. For provinces that have not established a unified information platform at the provincial level, the education administrative departments of the provinces shall collect the comprehensive quality files of local middle school students and upload them to the registration system of the Xeon Plan.
(2) For candidates who forge comprehensive quality files or cheat in college examinations, cancel their qualifications for registration, examination and admission of strong foundation plan, and inform relevant provincial entrance examination institutions or education administrative departments of the relevant situation, cancel their qualifications for registration, examination and admission of college entrance examination in that year, and suspend their participation in various national education examinations within three years according to the seriousness of the case. Those who have already entered the school will be dealt with according to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education and our school, and the graduation certificate and degree certificate found after graduation will be cancelled. Middle schools should carefully verify the materials distributed. If there is fraud, our school reserves the right to take relevant measures.
(3) In principle, after the candidates are admitted to the Strong Foundation Program, they are not allowed to change their major at the undergraduate stage.
(4) During the selection test, candidates should pay for their own transportation and accommodation. Candidates with financial difficulties who are short-listed for college exams can apply to our school, and our school can provide affordable travel expenses and accommodation subsidies as appropriate.
(5) The school has not entrusted any individual or intermediary agency to carry out examinations and enrollment related work such as the Strong Foundation Program, and does not hold any form of for-profit training activities.
Supervision and guarantee mechanism of intransitive verbs
(1) Under the leadership of the leading group for enrollment work in our school, the Undergraduate Admissions Office is responsible for organizing and implementing the specific work.
