Huanglongdong legend:

Huanglong Cave is based on a folk story. Legend has it that in ancient times, in the Ziyun Cave not far from here, there lived two Huanglongs, one old and one small. One day, the old Huanglong suddenly did evil and burned Hangzhou city with fire. Little Huanglong put the righteousness above family loyalty, led everyone to pour the West Lake water into Ziyun Cave, drowned the old Huanglong and put out the fire. And Xiao Huanglong also died in this struggle.

People buried the little Huanglong with tears. Tears seeped into the heart of the little Huanglong and overflowed from its mouth, so a small waterfall flowed out of the grave of the little Huanglong. In order to commemorate the little Huanglong, a yellow faucet was molded at the place where the waterfall flowed out, and this place was named "Huanglong Cave". In the late Qing Dynasty, it became a famous Taoist temple in Hangzhou, and it has been well preserved so far.
