The ancestors chose to live in the highlands with water sources, relying on nature and defending against floods and wild animals, which fully reflected their wisdom and proved the ancient and civilized history of Huailin Town. Huailin Town is named after Huailinzui, which is a peninsula extending into Chaohu Lake. Sophora japonica is planted in a large area on the island, so it is called Huailinzui. Today, there is a mouthful of more than 200 mu of Sophora japonica, which is a place where Sophora japonica blooms and has a beautiful environment. Chaohu Temple on Huailinkou is a sister temple across the lake from the middle temple on the north bank of Chaohu Lake. In those days, pilgrims were like clouds, and the incense was strong. Unfortunately, the original temple was destroyed by Japanese artillery fire. It was restored and rebuilt in the mid-1990s, becoming a scenic spot and a Buddhist resort. The old street in Huailin Town is built by the lake and has a long history. So far, many ancient houses are interdependent. With the development of society, the scope of villages and towns has expanded to the south, and 4 square kilometers of villages and towns have been built. The layout of the new street is reasonable, worry-free, clean and tidy, with rows of buildings and prosperous business. The street view garden is picturesque and the community is warm as spring. Known as "the famous town of mountains and rivers in Anhui Province" and "the nest in the south of Jiangsu".
