How did Han Zhongli become immortal?

Li Zhong in the Han Dynasty, formerly known as Li Zhong, had a right name and a cloud room, and everyone in the world was scattered in the Han Dynasty. Some people say that when people address him, they say that "Li Hanzhong is scattered all over the world" is too long, so they connect the word "Han" with the word ""and call it ". Others said that because he claimed to be born in the Han Dynasty, people called him "Mr. Li Zhong of the Han Dynasty", and gradually he became "Li Zhong of the Han Dynasty".

When Han Zhongli was born, suddenly a giant broke into the house. This giant, who called himself Huang Shen in ancient times, was born in Zhong Lishi's family. Then I saw a different light coming in from the window, dozens of feet long, and the strong light made people unable to open their eyes. Han Zhongli was born after strong light. But when Han Zhongli was born, he didn't cry or eat, and there was no sound at all. It was not until the seventh day after his birth that he was able to jump up at once. He said, "I am traveling in Zifu, and my book is very famous." It's hard to understand. It turns out that Zifu and Yujing refer to the palace of the Jade Emperor in the sky. When Han Zhong was born, he said such a thing, indicating that he is an immortal in the sky and will return to heaven to become an immortal in the future. Because he knew how to weigh things when he was very young, his father named him Quan.

When Han Zhong grew up, he stayed away from Han Zhong and developed a good martial arts. In addition, he was very strong and brave, and soon he was reused by the emperor and became a corps commander. On one occasion, the emperor sent Han Zhongli to lead an army against Tubo. But Liang Ji, the powerful minister at that time, was afraid that caffey would make great contributions and be stronger than himself, and only gave him 30,000 old, weak and beaten soldiers. As soon as the two armies confronted each other, suddenly there was a strong wind, thunder and lightning, and then it was dark and opaque. The troops in all directions could not tell the enemy from me, and they scuffled. In this sudden chaos, both soldiers and horses were frightened. Han Zhongli ran away on his horse and lost contact with the team. The war horse no longer obeyed his orders, ran away, ran and ran into a deep forest. Han Zhongli lost his way and didn't know where he was.

After a long time, the sky gradually cleared up, but it was already night, and there were faint moons and sparse stars in the sky. With this faint starlight, Han Zhongli looked around, trying to find a way down the mountain, but there were all criss-crossing paths around, and he didn't know which way was the way down the mountain. While he was hesitating, he suddenly saw a monk from the western regions, wearing a forehead and straw clothes, coming towards him. Han Zhongli seems to have found hope and hurriedly stepped forward to ask the way.

The monk said to him, "It's far from the exit of the mountain. I don't think you can go out tonight. Let's find a place to rest first. I can take you to a place to rest now. Please come with me. " Say that finish and lead the way ahead.

Han Zhong was overjoyed, thanked him again and again and followed the monk forward. After walking about three or five miles, they walked into a ravine. In the dim light, I saw a small village in front of me, but it looked like it was in a cave. When the monk took Han Zhongli to the village entrance, he didn't leave. The monk said to him, "This is Zhengyang Cave. I'm finished with you. I can only take you here. Go in alone. " Say that finish, the monk crossed his hands, bowed, and then turned and disappeared.

In fact, this village used to be a cave. Han Zhongli went to the mouth of the cave, heard the silence in the cave, and dared not rush in. While he was wandering around the village entrance, he heard an old man's voice say, "Are you General Han Zhongli?"? Now that you're here, come on in. "

Han Zhongli was secretly surprised, thinking that the old man must not be an ordinary person, otherwise how could he know his number if he had never met? Before he could answer, an old man came out and took him into a nearby room.

The room is very simple. A loose lighting spot is on the wall covered with yellow mud, and the bed is hung by a rope and still hanging there. There are several commonly used pottery on the ground, neatly packed. However, the most eye-catching thing is a bookshelf beside the bed, with many books on it, neatly arranged.

After Han Zhongli sat down, Han Zhongli asked the old man's name, and the old man claimed to be Mr. Donghua. This name, Han Zhong knew from an early age that he was a really learned man, who lived in seclusion in the mountains and was completely isolated from the world, but he didn't expect to meet him here. Han Zhongli thought: This time, the whole army was wiped out. If he goes back, he won't be able to do the work. In addition, due to years of war, people have been displaced and led a miserable life. There is really nothing to miss in this world. Since he met Donghua real person, it was a rare opportunity. Why not learn from the teacher? So Han Zhongli decided to leave the world and practice in Tao.

From then on, Han Zhong worshiped Mr. Donghua as a teacher and stayed in the mountains to learn Taoism. Mr. Donghua taught him the truth of immortality and the method of spiritual treasure, and also taught him calligraphy. Han Zhong studied Taoism in a mountain middle school for three years. He is not only good at Taoism, but also writes well.

Then one day, Mr. Donghua said to him, "Your road is here, you can go out of the mountain." In other words, now that you have finished practicing your internal skills, you should practice your external skills and enlighten mortals. After you come out, you should accumulate more merits and wait for the imperial edict. In this way, Han Zhong left his master to travel around the world. Later, he came to He Ling, Zhong Nanshan. There is a cave on the He Ling, which is spacious and sunny. There is running water in front of the cave, which is crystal clear. The mouth of the cave is surrounded by lush vegetation and colorful flowers. He thought it was a good place, so he turned the cave into a living room, carved four cursive characters of "Dong Tian of Crane Age" at the entrance of the cave, and settled down.

Zhong Nanshan is close to Chang 'an, so he often goes to Chang 'an's bustling market to drink. Once, he was drinking in a restaurant on Chengtianmen Street. The shopkeeper brought him the best wine "Langguanqing". After a few drinks, he asked for pen and ink from the restaurant, wrote some poems on the wall of the hotel, and then wrote the words "All over the world". One of the young people couldn't help crying when he saw these words: "Isn't this old gentleman Mr. Fang Yun?"

Han Zhongli was surprised, turned around and asked with a smile, "Who are you? How do you know my name? "

In fact, this young man is none other than his future apprentice Lv Dongbin. He bowed deeply to Han Zhongli, introduced himself to many failures and prepared to retire. Then, ask him the way.

Han Zhongli first taught Lv Dongbin the art of turning stone into gold, and told him that after turning stone into gold, he could give it to the poor. When Lv Dongbin saw something like this, he asked, "Will the gold made of this stone change back to its original shape because of its age?"

Han Zhong said, "Yes, but it will be three thousand years later."

Lv Dongbin frowned and said, "So, after three thousand years, aren't we cheating?"

Han Zhongli clapped his hands and said, "Well said. With your mind, you can learn to live forever. I wonder if you would like to follow me to learn Buddhism and cultivate immortality? "

Lv Dongbin quickly knelt down and worshipped Han Zhong as his teacher. From then on, Han Zhongli officially accepted Lv Dongbin as an apprentice and taught him Taoism.

One autumn, Han Zhongli came back from the foot of Kongtong Mountain and took a walk on the mountain with Lv Dongbin. Suddenly, a colorful cloud floated from Ran Ran and landed on the top of He Ling. Han Zhongli pointed to Cai Yun and said to Lv Dongbin, "The Jade Emperor has written an imperial edict, and tomorrow he wants me to be sealed in heaven. After I go, you should continue to practice hard. "

In the evening, the master and his disciples returned to the cave together. Under the lamp of Song and Ming Dynasties, Han Zhongli solemnly handed his book Twelve Limbs of Lingbao to Lv Dongbin and told him, "Don't talk nonsense when meeting people, and you don't need to know anything when meeting friends."

The next morning, there was a melodious sound of rustling in the air. Both of them went out of the cave devoutly, only to see two Taoist boys, dressed in colorful clothes, each riding a Cai Feng, floating down, accompanied by a red-crowned crane. Han Zhongli took to the crane's back and waved to Lv Dongbin. On a sunny day, he flew into the sky with Fairchild, drifted away and finally disappeared at the end of the day.
