Lingshi Temple was built in the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), with a long history and a good reputation. Abandoning the boat to climb the mountain, the stone path sounds like wonderful music, playing with the footsteps of tourists. It turns out that the rocks in Danxia landform contain carbonate, which is easily soluble in water. After rain erosion, gaps of different sizes are formed. When people walk on it, they make different sounds. On both sides of the stone path, bamboo forests stand tall and willows are graceful, covering the sky, warm in winter and cool in summer. Halfway up the mountain, there is a Seisensui, crystal clear, with a small mouth and a sweet mouth. It is said that this Seisensui has medicinal effects, can cure eye diseases, and has certain therapeutic effects on glaucoma, fire, myopia, presbyopia and cataract. Bypass the spring water and climb a few stone steps, and you will arrive at the Guanyin Hall of Lingshi Temple. This temple is solemn and resplendent. On the right side of the indoor main hall, there is a stone carving. Zhu Weigang, a native of Xiangxiang, marveled at the magic of this grotto and happily engraved "One more day". Tongzhi's "Yi Ning Zhou Zhi" contains: "There is a temple on the cliff, with a round and hollow top, which looks like a hanging incense. The secluded place can be far away from the hubbub, and monks are mostly hidden here, and Chengfang is also a resort. " Su Dongpo once came here, leaving a poem "Clear water, penetrating the spring stone, living in the comfort of experts". Now that the master is gone, the incense is still there. When the prosperity outside the mountain is synchronized with the noise, and the lanterns are parallel to the noise, it is immersive, sentimental and indulgent in the mountains and rivers, which makes people extraordinary and forgetful. If you have a wish to come true, you can turn to the goddess Guanyin to help you. There is an endless stream of believers coming here every day. It takes about twenty minutes to get to Lingshi 'an by ferry from Daduan Reservoir. Admission is 40 yuan per person. Those who want to be in a hurry can take a speedboat.
The reservoir dam is about 20 meters high, with a long and narrow water surface and a width of about 200 to 300 meters, but it is endless. At first glance, the opposite mountain is lush and beautiful. There are several huge strange stones in the green forest, which should be called mountains, because it is at least as big as ordinary hills.
According to legend, during the Autumn Harvest Uprising, Chairman Mao once lived in Lingshi Temple for a period of time.
When I got off the boat, I took a rugged path, circled two or three times, and reached the intersection of the mountain. Buy incense, buy yellow paper matches and you can go up the mountain.
There is a stone mother temple at the foot of the mountain, burning incense first, and then there is a pavilion halfway up the mountain. "Juxian Pavilion" can be used for tourists to rest. When you walk halfway up the mountain, there is a spring, which is very delicate and small. Countless coins are thrown in, and incense sticks curl up beside you. Then you reach the gate of Lingshi Temple. You need to look up when you go in, because the temple is in a boulder with steep steps. But there are only thirty or twenty steps, so I'm not very tired.
Lingshi Temple is dedicated to Guanyin, which everyone says is very clever. Burning incense, worshipping Buddha, drawing lots, and going to the temple are all the same. It's just that there are few businesses and simple people here, and it feels as pleasant as the beautiful scenery outside.
On February 19th, June 19th and September 19th of the lunar calendar, many people came to worship at Lingshi Temple, and many people came from other places.
