AFC Champions League Group Points Ranking Rules

Thirty-two teams will be divided into eight group matches, including four teams from East Asia and four teams from West Asia. The top two teams in each group will advance to 16. 16 will be held in East Asia and West Asia respectively, with two rounds of home and away elimination.

After the top 8 is produced, the competition will be decided by drawing lots again. The top 8 and the final will be eliminated in two rounds, home and away.

If two teams finish the tournament with the same score, the following mechanism will be used to solve the problem of equal share:

1, the relationship between them (total score, goal difference, number of goals, away goals).

2. Target difference.

3. Number of targets.

4. Players of a team get 1 point for each yellow card. Players accumulate 3 points for the red card of two yellow cards, 3 points for the direct red card, and 4 points for the direct red card that players eat first. The team with less accumulated points finally ranks in the front of the standings when comparing the red and yellow cards (rules).
